Good day, I to am rebuilding this exact same model as well. Please allow me to compliment you on an excellent job. The one thing I can say and confirm is that you can open the doors on this kit, as I’ve already done so. It does however need a little reinforcement along the lower door rails, but other than that it’s very doable. I hope to be posting a full video on the total rebuild and modification soon.
