Update: Jay's resin wheels said he could print the wheels in that size I was somewhat surprised he could do that so thank you for the idea

I have built the tahoe kit and it's just not at the level of detail and accuracy I'm going for. Right now I have a mostly correct front axle and transfer case, driveshaft but I might have to scratch build some parts. If someone could supply pictured of the 4wd spindles I would appreciate that. Right now I'm building the skids and torsion bars and mounts. My problem is the cv axles and control arms if I could get some advice on scratch building those that'd be good.

Did some more chassis work and my knife slipped and cut in between my pointer and middle finger. The cut was close to a half inch deep.😬

UPDATE: there are 24 inch snowflakes but they are 50 DOLLARS!!!!!? That is ridiculous for model car wheels.

I am currently working on a 98 k1500 and am doing a replica of a certain truck. The truck I’m building features 24 inch wheels (I know bring on the hate) and are gm snowflake wheels. On the market there are both 26s and 20s but not a 24 what should I do about this?

Woah getting a little destructive there. I’m still figuring out what I’m going to do. I’ve got other projects to think about. I’m probably going to get a new body and start over.

Got the front end of the frame finished. Still have to sand the glue.

I did some work on the chassis and shot some primer on the body and hood.

What's going on with the cab?! There isn't any panel lines?!

Got the extended cab kit in the mail today started on the body work. First thing I did was remove the mounting pins from the inner fenders.

After years I finally restocked on glue and knife blades. I got a few other things too...

Really like this build. It inspired me to go and build the tahoe kit. I enjoyed following the build thread.

Bringing an old thread back up... Did you ever finish the project or still have it?

The most i will be working on is 2 anymore than that is too many.
