Got the extended cab kit in the mail today started on the body work. First thing I did was remove the mounting pins from the inner fenders. -

Bringing an old thread back up... Did you ever finish the project or still have it? -

First thing I built is the engine and the kit comes with the tbi 350 and in 1998 they used a fuel injected vortec 5.7 so I am modifying the kit motor to look like the vortec version. -

I checked the site and found a stock 350 but still the same as the kit motor as it is tbi and not fuel injected. I figure I will just modify the kit engine.

I am working on a 1998 chevrolet k1500. I am doing a full detail model and am trying to find how to build the motor. The kit has a 350 throttle body injected motor but I need the vortec fuel injected version. I also would like to detail the motor and the kit motor is somewhat soft on details. Should I find another engine or modify the kit engine to be fuel injected? Let me Know

WARNING! Not all 1/25 scale is equal.

I did a kitbash of the amt 1996 dually c3500 and amt c1500 sportside. When I opened the box for the c1500 I thought Wow this looks really small! It actually scales out to 1/26th scale. -
Thank you for the advice everyone. I was a young child when I built this so it isn't the best. I am attached to this model as it was one of my first. Yes it is 13 layers of paint they were thick layers at that. There was no primer or clear coat. I will try stripping and scribing it. What do yall think about a rebuild thread? Let me know.

I was looking at old model pictures when I found my charger project. It looked as good as I remembered in the photos but when I got it out I remembered it was in shambles all the paint peeled off or crackled so I repainted it about 13 times. I recently sprayed some primer on and was wondering is this body saveable?

I Am Trying To Find The Old Revell 1/16th Scale Swamp Monster Truck. I Think It Is A 1986 Kit. There Are A Few On Ebay But The Prices Are Ridiculously High. 200-500 Dollars Is Astronomical.

I tried doing that and I broke the tabs. It is certainly glued together.
