  1. Hi everyone. Is there a basic size/wire gauge you folks use for things like: Upper and lower rad hoses, Water pump hoses, Batter cables, Brake hoses and lines, Fuel lines. I'm really looking for a total diameter or thickness, because some 28 AWG wire may be thicker than another brand of 28 AWG due to the thickness of the sheathing (if that makes sense). Thanks in advance.
  2. Yes, those are really nicely detailed parts. I may go that route after all; thank you very much for sharing!
  3. Hi everyone. Does anyone know where a person can go online (or wherever) to buy replacement 1:25 distributors that come come with plastic model kits? I'm not looking for pre-drilled ones or tutorials on how to make my own, but the actual distributors that come with the kits. I'm looking for a dozen or two, mostly for 8-cylinder engines, and even a few for 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engines. Thanks.
  4. I've been using this no-name brand that is "fume-free" (it still has an odor just not as harsh as other brands) which works great. I still use latex gloves though for handling.
  5. No, I do not. I can scratch-build pretty much anything out of anything anyway, as a lot of this "wrecker" is custom-built.
  6. I am turning my 1:25 1960 AMT Chevy Stepside truck into a tow truck (passing it off as a C/K30 truck) and have much of it complete including the rear dualies. But, I'm having issues making a wrecker bed especially the back end including a hydraulic wheel lift. Anyone else take on such a project? Any ideas or suggestions is appreciated. i could even upload a picture or two if it will help. Thanks.
  7. (sigh) shoot, it didn't actually say the total thickness, but it probably would be too big for what I want if that's the case.
  8. Hi all. I've been trying to find some decent (and affordable) 30 AWG wire (for spark plug wiring) where I live in Canada and had no luck, except for a product I found on Amazon called "BOJACK 30 AWG Flexible Silicon Wire Kit". I'm including a picture of said kit I ordered and was wondering if anyone else tried this. Any thoughts?
  9. Hi all. I just joined this group and was wondering if anyone has built a plastic model of The Double Zero Mustang from that one Dukes Of Hazzard Reunion movie. I don't think a kit was ever made, and I am wanting to make one for myself in 1:24 scale. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks.
