That would never pass inspection here in Australia, you guys are so lucky, that's awesome mate. Well done π

Here he's my boy doing his serious face. At least once a day he does something that makes me laugh out loud. He's an idiot but he's my mate.

A few in progress shots of the chassis so far. The donor fuel tank from the Thunderbird and the firewall which I'm guessing maybe from the AMT USA1 Monster Truck. As always, questions, comments all most welcome. Thanks for looking π

I'm grateful I still have a few survivors left. Thanks for the comment π

Built this as a kid. Questions, comments and scathing criticisms all most welcome. Thanks for looking π

Going to call the body shell done. As before, mostly the kit pieces with some details added and attempts at minor scratch building, opened up the wheel arches, deleted door handles etc. The front and rear chrome pieces were missing so the bumpers etc are just styrene sheet and Tamiya filler. Questions and comments most welcome. Thanks for looking π

Fitted the glass, body shell is nearly done, this thing was so bad I had to fit the glass on an angle to hide the glue burn. She's a bit rough π

How many models are you working on at one time?
Leon Cream replied to rossfox's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
If I'm building out of the box I might pull three or so body's out and prep and paint them one after the other. Then go back and fourth building drivetrains, chassis and interiors. This usually works out on box stock builds because if I have fitment issues it's usually the sub assembly that is modified to fit rather than the body itself. Id rather grind or trim a chassis plate or interior tub than the body. This also allows adequate time for paint to cure. When attempting anything more complex than a box stock builds I think one at a time is enough for me. Currently have AMT 69 Torino Cobra, revell 66 Chevelle SS, Lindberg little red wagon, AMT '60 corvette, Revell '55 Chevy street machine and Revell visible V8. Got a bit hectic and am currently just working on finishing the Torino. -
Thankyou mate

Thanks for the interest. I imagine it's maybe an ex race car that's being used as a test mule, perhaps by a tyre company or race team. Should have some updates soon. Thanks again π

Hi, Finished model Will have no sponsorship decals, but otherwise will be built as a race car. Sorry if it's in the wrong section.
