Well this has been in the background as was waiting on the special mix paint curing I have resin wheels ordered for this one

i will stash this and continue with the other one which i was waiting on the paint curing

arghhhhhhh humidity again top coat has been totally destroyed 😡

yes masked off entire area then cut around with a sharp knife do this on all my models trim/window surrounds

some creative painting may be in order i also have various spare seats wheels etc so may see what works best

I'm not entirely satisfied with the finish on the plastic arch mouldings etc

interesting point vw made the golf etc with a v6 engine and a v5 engine but neither is a v engine they are a staggered 5 and staggered 6 very clever design but a nightmare to change timing chains on
