Back in the day I was building AMT models, spending all of my allowance and lawn mowing/snow shoveling money as soon as I had enough to buy one, along with paint, glue, etc. A bit older now my hands have been too shakey and stiff for quite a few years so I gave it up.

I've been collecting 1/24 scale Danbury and Franklin Mint cars for a quite a while and have about 120 - 130, and counting. I recently came across a Danbury Mint 1957 Chevy Convertible identical to one I already have, except the trunk does not open and looks as though it was never meant to. I'm trying to find out if one of them is a mistake or did Danbury really produce one with an opening trunk and one without? Any clues or another forum I could post it that might help? Only thing is, I don't Facebook so I know that's kind of limiting. Thanks!
