I have the same kit that I'll be building soon. I also have the Nicholson 67 Comet Funny car that I saw race in 1967. The 65 car has been restored and runs in vintage drag events.

Shown is my completed Don Nicholson Comet Funny Car. The model was fun to build but it is very inaccurate. I had the good fortune of seeing the real Eliminator II race at Englishtown NJ inn 1967. It was fast and it was loud! I'll likely rebody this model with a proper wheelbase true to the original.
