  4. Dang! I hope he is a good friend atleast and not going charge ya by the hour to put it all back together. Ya could've told him the a/c wasn't the big of a deal. You have a cold stiff stashed in the rear.
  5. Impressive as all your work.. That has got to be the biggest trunk on any corvette
  6. Welcome aboard. Stay, share pictures and enjoy the fun. Sorry, there isn't any better forums than this one. Other model website for shopping?
  7. Well for the The Ultimate Hobby Shop. I'm lucky to have 5 in my hood. To stay in business, you most appease all hobbyist. One I go to (Bridgetown hobbies, formally known as Military corner))has no trains but lots of cars, Military, sci-fi, and Games (really?) they have been in business for well over 30 (I've been going there for 20) years. The other one (Tammies Hobbies)does R/C, Trains, Military and model cars and is also well stocked but there prices have been climbing lately. But They specialise in Trains and R/C are first on their list and models as extra $$. Another one (Vic's Hobbies) does only Trains and diorama supplies, good for supplies (plasti-struct/evergreen)and glue. Model builders are like Zukist people, Cheap.. we want bang for our buck!! That maybe only my Opinion but I doubt it. ha ha.. So I'd suggest a Hobby shop Like Tammie's but lean more towards models with R/Cs, games, and trains thrown in for extra $$
  8. I just stopped at the first pic. it says it all. Sweet ride...

    '66 GTO

I didn't think that was all that great looking of a car. Guess I was Way Wrong.. I don't know what it is, but it just looks right. Great build up and a great photo finish.. Awesome......................................
  10. Excellent job.. So your son is an avid poker player and in the Air Force (or going). Motor looks great.. The hood struts really help the 1:1 look. Didn't hoods use to stay up by themselves?
  11. Oooo I can see myself A Clean car has better aerodynamics
  12. Thank you. Sweet paint and mods.. Very nice job.
  13. Looking great. Nice work on the body and all. got milk? Love the old fashion a/c Schaweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

    VW Bug

Great looking Bug. I love it that the hub cap fell off and it's sitting in the truck or Bonnet. Lil dab of silver on the lugnuts, you'd be good to go.
  23. It's a Rally car, it's gonna get dirty anywhoo. Great looking Subbie...
  24. Very Cool, I love Skylines.. any fit issues? I have one on my to-do list. and I have a 4dr on the way..
  25. Your Orange Camaro looks good, nice paint and engine.. The best one I have is got to be my Metro Towtruck. it is probably 70%+ scratch built. I measured Everything on my TowTruck to make a 1:1 replica. Even the License plate is 1:1 correct A stock AMT Ford f-150 to F-350 Cab with a stretched chassis. And No Decals, hand painted stripes and letterings. A century Metro Wrecker bed Multi piece 16.5x10"inch 1 ton super-single rear wheels The Electric over Hydraulic pump with proper color wires A century wheel-lift with tilt features and Drum Brakes Right down to the Multi piece Collins pop-up Dollies The only thing that throws it off from being a Perfect 1:1 replica is the kit supplied 5.0 and duel Quads. It is called Speeds Towing I didn't know how to fake a 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel. I think this build wore me out, I haven't put this much effort into a kit since.
