Looking for info on Testors snap Van 4x4
RodneyBad replied to RodneyBad's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Well it isn't a reissue. It didn't look half bad in the pic, Kind've thinking it might have been a Reboxed Monogram 4x4 van?? Haven't been able to find any other pic but the box. Tires wont be an issue with Ma's Resins popping out some nice off-road tires Hopefully the suspension isn't too bad or at least workable. Nicest thing so far is the previous owner I bought it from charged me too much for shipping and will be (already been done too) refunding the difference. Now to see how fast shipping will be -
All your paint jobs look Top Notch. Flames look Prety Dang Great too. Good to see some of your finish work. Really hard to pick a fav but I like the Camaro wagon and Challenger. Awesome work.

I think if it's around $25, I'd call that a good price. I'm cheap. Last purchase for the yr. (?)

Weathered RC Semi body
RodneyBad replied to LAV25's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
I just checked out your Build thread and it looks good. Very interesting rear suspension set up. Don't forget about a slip yoke in the drive lines tho. I like the bicycle link shackles. Great Idea and free too -

Truck weathering is looking great. Gotta hate those people that never wash their hands and spread the grease around. Sounds like a shop my Company take our trucks for maintenance Chassis looks good Nice Beefie looking Axles. Links are okay too. Plus it will help the build blend right in too. -
