Im working on my Ford Focus SVT-P for the Stockton car show on the 13th.

Guess how old I'll be on the 27th? Born in '87.

Front suspension done and rear is partially built, ran out of paint.

Im using Kustom Kolors Candy Cobalt Blue over Silver. Going to paint the struts ans springs like Bilstein brand.

Engine and exhaust completed, starting on the suspension. Wanted a Cherry Bomb glass pack, the muffler was painted silver, smoke clear and then dullcote

I got started on this little pocket panel, wanted something a little different so glue the windows and paint over them. Im using the custom bodywork with the stock spoiler, stock interior, and minilite wheels. The engine and exhuast are near completion and I've started on the suspension.

If I can get the Grand National finished, it'll be there. I might bring my custom Deora and Focus mock-up.

1909 Overland?

One of my future projects is a R-M Ford Focus, originally I was going with the full blown tuner look but after some thought Im going with a subtle look like my others. The faux Minilites from R-M '67 Corvette GS Ten spokes from R-M '77 Monte Carlo snap kit Whitewalls from R-M '29 pickup with chrome wheels

The Grand National is back on the bench, the body went back into the Simple Green on Monday and should be out on Saturday. Im going to start the interior which will be pain for me.

So how was the finish, about two hours left the power went out. Someone ran their car up a pole and poewr didn't come back till about 8:30 pst, I can't get anything but standard cable right now.

I wasn't saying anything bad about Le Mans. Just that at this time its boring, I usally watch the last two/three hours when most of the field gets weeded out and the racing really picks up. As for comments about NASCAR, it shows that your narrow minded. I watch all forms of racing and show no ill-will towards any of them.

Its been boring, switched to the better NASCAR race.

Excellent build James, any interior or underside pics?

Finally took some more pictures of the GTX. I didn't like how the red was just to plain so I went with MM Dark Bronze Met. with a black vinyl top. Hasn't been cleared yet. The engine is done for now, I'll do the wiring just before it goes in. The correct rearend for a Hemi car, a Dana 60.

Looks great so far Ron, what paint did you use for the suspension and don't forget the drain tube for the air tray.

Didn't get to sit in it, just stuck my arm in there and took a few shots and picked the one.

2008 Summer Get-Together

I drilled the carbs then inserted a piece I trimed from the diode, then glued and hoped for the best. The glue is Insta-Cure+ from Hobbytown. If you don't have a Hobbytown, check bsiadhesives.com.
