  1. Actually it spreads the nose out a little. I think my problem was where the Tally nose attached to the Torino the fenders were to narrow. Tally nose was to wide. Left a hump where they attached. By cutting the core support you could spread out the fenders and not have such a large hump to feather out. It's only about a 1/16" I looked at the car last night. It didn't make the hood fit any worse. Everything looks straight. It's been twenty years since I built the kit and the body work is still intact. Can't say the same for the rest of the car.

  2. I built this kit many years ago as the # 17 H&M nascar race car. To make the front fit better I removed the front radiator wall. attached the Tally front, puddied and sanded, then reinstalled the radiator wall. I'm not the best at body work but this turned out to be my best effort, ever, at the time. You could probably just split the radiator core support. It moved the front apart about 1/16" .
