I Take A Pair Of Needlenose Pliers I Curve One End Of The Piece Of Solder Like A Hook And One End Goes Into The Engine Block But First Have To Drill A Hole In The Block With A Pin Vise. As A Matter Of Fact What Year Daytona You Have I Can Tell You The Dipstick Location.
  2. Heres Some Progress Pics.
  3. Originally When I Removed The 66 Fenders To Make Way For The 67 Fenders I Left The Original Inner Fenderwells Once I Had The 67 Fenders In Place I Had A Huge Gap So I Discarded The Fenderwells I Kept The Original Cowl In Place.
  4. Solder Isnt Brittle At All Its Pretty Flexible It Comes In Various Sizes Its In Stainless Steel I Buy My Solder From Lowes Or Sears. You Can Make Oil Dipsticks & Transmission Cooling Lines/ Filler Tubes. To Straighten Out Solder Use Two Pieces Of Wood Thats About 4 Inches Long And Sandwich It Together And Volia Piece Of Solder Is Straight.
  5. Abe- You Can Also Use Plumbing Or Electrical Solder For Your Fuel Lines, Brake Lines, Brake Booster & Exhaust Tailpipes. For A Mesh Grille You Can Use A Splatter Screen Which You Can Find At The Supermarket A Permanent Coffee Filter Works Too. Thanks For The Coaxail Cable Idea.
  6. I Wanted To Try Something Different On This Wagon it Started Out As A Revell 66 Chevelle Wagon Im Building This One To Look Like My Good Buddys 67 Wagon. This Conversion Wasnt Easy Especially Trying To Get The 67 Chevelle Taillights To Fit. The Fenders Came From A Revell 67 Chevelle SS That I Got In A Trade. Future Plans Are: Electric Blue Paint, Stock Black Interior, Replicas & Miniatures Chevy 327 Ci Engine. The Wheels Came From A Revell 68 Corvette. Enjoy!
  7. Heres My Edsel I Been Building On & Off For 6 Months It Started Out As A Pre-Painted Hardtop The First Pic Shows What I Started With. The Top Has Been Sliced Off With A Dremel Talk About A Very Tedious Job. Its Almost Ready For Paint. The Future Plans Are: Satin Black Paint, Red & White Tuck N Roll Interior, Wide Whitewall Tires, Chrome Moon Wheels, 62 T-Bird Engine To Replace The Stock One, Lowered Stance I'll Keep Ya'll Posted On This Beauty.
  8. Heres My 50 Ford I Been Tinkering With. She Still Needs Some Work Its Being Built 50's Style So Im Making Sure That Every Part On This Beauty Is Period Correct. I Used Some Pieces From A Revell 49 Merc Such As: The Caddy Engine, Front & Rear Axles, & The Floor Pan. The Reason I Used The Mercs Floor Pan Instead Of The Kits Pan Is To Clear The Caddys Transmission. Also Im Using The Cadillac Wheels From The Merc. The Future Plans Are : Either A Satin Paint Job Or Candy Paint Still Deciding Im Going For What Kind Of Paint Scheme Was Used In The 50's, Tuck N Roll Interior, Lowered Stance.

You Ougha Make Resin Copies Of Your Caddy Wagon & Hearse. I Would Love To Have One Of Those How You Built Them.

For Example The Microchips That I Found In The Circuit Grid Which Can Be Used As Amps,Ignition Boxes,Coil Packs. The Round Fuse-Type Canister Which Is Located In The Circuit Grid Can Be Used As Oil Filters, Oil Tanks, Trash Cans For Your Diorama They Have All Kinds Of Parts Inside Your VCR Or DVD Player Than You Can Imagine.
