The red winsheild is just the kit glass that I sprayed with Tamiya clear red for a can. I wanted the clear blue but it was on backorder... no time to wait!!

I actually finished a model!!!! Here is how a '32 Ford sedan sould look! There are 13 parts from the sedan kit, all modified. Body-removed cloth portion of roof. chopped down door panels and added mexican blanket decals. Widened rear axle. Recessed fire wall. Dechromed front suspension and installed tie rods upside down (for clearence) and used another set of tie rods from kit for the cowl steering. Removed the front brakes to mount spindle mount wheels. And Z'd the frame. I borrowed parts from the following kits: Revell '40 Ford-dash. AMT '53 Ford p/u-custom engine and steering wheel. '56 Ford-front wheels/ tires. '40 Willys-rear wheels. '49 Ford- custom taillights. Lindberg Auburn-headlights. I scratch built a tractor grill and radiator, carb stacks, headers, fuel blocks, center console and floor pan. The keg (fuel tank), seats, rear tires and shifter knob are aftermarket pieces

It looks like a couple of us will make the hard 1 hour drive from Mich. to Toledo on sat. !! lol I just have to stop at my favorite place to eat before the show.. Star diner, good food and good sights!!!

Ok. I had NO luck finding a scale tractor grill. I thought I might try to scratch build one. Whats the worst that can happen??? I took 2 Revell '32 ford grill shells and some strip plastic and this is the grill that I came up with. This is also the project that I wanted it for. How did I do?

Does anybody have any contact info for 1320 resin?? I found some of their stuff that I purchased at either Toledo or Detroit toy show. The email address that was on the front of the package came back undeliverable. Are they still in business?? I need more beer kegs for a project. Thanks

There is a multi-club meeting/swap meet at TSS hobbies Rawsonville Rd. and I-94 this sunday July 13th from 9-3. (in the strip mall with K-mart). There should be folks from 4 or 5 different clubs including the Jackson and Ann Arbor clubs (I'm a member of both). Buy / sell / trade and general bs kind of thing. I guess I for got that the grill shell was for a rat rod/ hot rod project. So I need a smaller tractor, something like a Forn 9N or a bit smaller but still bigger than a lawn mower.

I was looking on the big austion site with no luck. Does anybody make a 1:24 or 1:25 scale resin tractor grill??? I was thinking of contacting Replicas in Minature but I can find Norms info either. Thanks
