how the heck you do that thats just what I want -
I was going to make the hood for my autocar build, a butterfly hood to be authentic instead of "using tape to display the engine as amt suggests doing. what would be a good tool to use as hinges and does anyone know were to find a pic to show how they open on the real deal. thanks, brandon

the cab can be filled in with filler and sanded but the glass looks like someone just set a red hot butter knife on it so im gonna have to make a replacement i guess. just saying poor quality control prob one of the reasons amt went under. -
I bought a vintage white western star amt kit and boy did it not pass quality control the cab has a huge casting defect in the door and the glass is melted passenger side.

I dunno hoc is a mystery paint I guess. I just know for a rattle can paint job it will do wonders for like show truck style paint jobs. the only reason im using testors for the autocar is to get a vintage look.

lot of detail nice truck. I just hate the way euro trucks look. after growing up around and driving petes,kw's macks, internationals its hard to take a liking to the euro styled ones. -

Thanks right now the only trailer kit I got is the Texaco Tanker kit Im thinking a rd mack to pull it I still gotta wrangle up a low boy for my auto car -
I learned today house of color and testors dont make good partners. I was gonna share a tip i learned if you screw up a paint job as long as its primed. u can soak the parts in brake fluid (not cleaner) and it will take it back to white plastic.
