  1. Really well done, Ismael. Lots of detail work there.
  2. I smelled Seal Grey paint and honed in on this. Nice work James! Those CF decals would drive me nuts.
  3. Real nice. I love the color on it, especially with the white top and interior.
  4. Nice job, Brendan. That's the first I've seen of that model. It looks quite nice, decals and all.

    Firebird SD-455

That really does have a good, no-nonsense look to it. With all that red though you'd never be allowed to park it at the polo club.
  6. Looks great, Antonio. That's a pretty accurate match for Grigio Titanio.
  7. Nice work, Tom. Very clean and smooth.
  8. That's an exceptionally nice replica. I really like the exterior colors along with the complemeting interior.
  9. Nice job. Great graphics and a real good look overall.

    70 Super Bird

Real nice work. Very clean, good detailing and good photos.
  11. Looks like the days of orange peel and rub-through spots are over for you. Nice work!
  12. Excellent review, Dave. Looks like it's about ready for publishing.
  13. I usually always use CA glue unless the job calls for epoxy. It sounds like your concern is more about damaging paint on parts you've already painted. 99% of the time some touch-up painting is required to cover glue bonds between two parts so scraping painted parts, if necessary, before joining them isn't a concern if done carefully. Once joined, touch it up with a fine sable hair brush and try to blend the brushed finish with the already painted finish.
  14. The resin body looks very accurate and high quality. Looking forward to seeing your finished replica.
  15. I've placed many orders with them. They were kind of a one stop shop for a variety of items. Sorry to see them go.
  16. Thanks Bob. Thanks Izzy. I saw the word "Nason" and I cringed.
  17. Nice work John. I like the colors you chose for it.
  18. I like it. Stylish and understated. Extra points for wiring and hoses.
  19. Nason is more or less DuPont's budget line of products. I experimented with the Nason equivalent of VariPrime a few years ago and found that it was totally useless for my modeling purposes. The best thing about it was that it came in a plastic container so it didn't make a lot of noise when I dumped it in my garbage can.

    1979 Camaro Z28

Nice job. That color combination definitely has a 70's flavor to it.
  21. Great job. That looks very unassuming in white but also very striking at the same time. Lots of nice added touches.
  22. Depending on how narrow the distributor cap is you may not be able to drill individual holes. For that situation I hollow out the whole cap, glue all the wires in at once with CA glue, then I fill any gaps between the wires and the cap with 5-minute epoxy. Once that has cured I paint over the hardened epoxy along with the rest of the distributor cap and it all blends in smoothly.
  23. Nicely done. It looks like a natural.
