Hi Guys, I added another dark horse to my black series after the LaFerrari and the Aperta, this time the Fujimi 430 Scuderia. I painted it matte black with some red accents and stripes, also used HD PE parts, different pattern carbon decals and real mesh, and replaced the stock rims. Not much more to say, here are the pics: Black series 430 Scuderia 17 by janositamas, on Flickr Black series 430 Scuderia 07 by janositamas, on Flickr Black series 430 Scuderia 26 by janositamas, on Flickr Black series 430 Scuderia 44 by janositamas, on Flickr Black series 430 Scuderia 54 by janositamas, on Flickr Black series 430 Scuderia 57 by janositamas, on Flickr Black series 430 Scuderia 58 by janositamas, on Flickr Black series 430 Scuderia 73 by janositamas, on Flickr Black series 430 Scuderia 74 by janositamas, on Flickr

Hi Guys, I think some of you know this special edition of the 458 Italia, which Ferrari made to celebrate its 20 years in China. ferrari-458-italia-china-edition-01 by janositamas, on Flickr The color is called "Marco Polo" red, and has the dragon-horse livery also with some gold and black additions, gold rims. There is only 20 built, so I got the feeling to desperately build one. As I couldn't find any paint codes of the red mentioned above I decided to go with the Scalefinishes Rosso Fuoco, which is a 2 layer paint - not perfect but the best I could get. As for the decals, a really good friend of mine called Mate gave me a helping hand - and a printer and made the custom decals for me. Many thanks for him! It was topped with 2k clear, interior is all black except for some carbon and clear red over carbon effect like the original. I used the Revell kit with the Fujimi rims and HobbyDesign PE parts. So guys, again, not the perfect match, but I couldn't resist to build one not to miss from my Ferrari collection, here are the pics: Ferrari 458 China Edition 37 by janositamas, on Flickr Ferrari 458 China Edition 38 by janositamas, on Flickr Ferrari 458 China Edition 34 by janositamas, on Flickr Ferrari 458 China Edition 27 by janositamas, on Flickr Ferrari 458 China Edition 25 by janositamas, on Flickr Some more pics: Ferrari 458 China Edition 11 by janositamas, on Flickr Ferrari 458 China Edition 20 by janositamas, on Flickr Ferrari 458 China Edition 10 by janositamas, on Flickr Ferrari 458 China Edition 09 by janositamas, on Flickr Thanks for watching!

BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, it looks fantastic, it shows it is really worth to go for the extra mile :-) At the end you could rename your topic to 'showpiece' instead of 'replica' :-)

Hi Guys, I decided to finish another summer-time car from my WIP stash, this time the Fujimi 430 Spider. I used PE parts, the 430 Challenge brakes (slightly bigger discs), and stripes of the 16M. Also replaced the stock rims with the Fujimi F12 rims, added some low profile tires to sit on it better, here are the pics: Ferrari F430 spider 41 by janositamas, on Flickr Ferrari F430 spider 25 by janositamas, on Flickr Ferrari F430 spider 32 by janositamas, on Flickr Ferrari F430 spider 58 by janositamas, on Flickr Ferrari F430 spider 60 by janositamas, on Flickr Ferrari F430 spider 66 by janositamas, on FlickrFerrari F430 spider 70 by janositamas, on Flickr Ferrari F430 spider 71 by janositamas, on Flickr Thanks for watching!

Hi Guys, just finished my next one, it's cabrio time - so this time I went for the topless look. Unfortunately the weather changed his mind so I barely see sunlight during taking pics. I was unlucky with the kit anyway, so what else did I expect? I somehow lost the "chrome" parts tree including the rims and the side view mirror inlets, and broke the windshield frame twice before painting and once more after. I used the 599 GTB rims with some very low profile tires to give it a modern look, and replaced the crappy stock exhaust tips with some leftover metal ones, I guess from some Revell Mustang GT leftovers. I used meshes also, but the whole kit is very basic both interior and exterior, so I didn't bother with more detail. I painted it Mazda Velocity Red Mica automotive paint, interior is black / tan. Here are the pics: On my way back home there were a little sunshine so I tried to catch the mica effect with not much success: http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z93/janositamas/DSC00750-3_zps68435ce3.jpg Thanks for watching!

Hi there, This is my 2nd Aperta, this time in black. Let me explain: I saw an all-black diecast with red interior when surfing the web for pics, which was something exclusive for an online diecast shop named Calsito. They also had the 458, the 599 GTO, F12 and LaFerrari in all-black, so I liked the idea and decided to build them all. So here is my first one from the line, the Aperta. The 458 Italia, a 430 Scuderia, a 599 GTO and F12 will follow. I painted the body matte black whit some grey stripes, the roof parts, the grille and the rear diffuser is gloss black, also replaced the brakes with the 599 GTB ones, used PE parts and HobbyDesign rims, added seatbelts, here are the pics:

Hi Guys, let me show you my Revell LaFerrari built in a weekend. I also started the Tamiya kit which will be well detailed, so I decided to go for a quick build this time. The kit itself is good, worth the price for sure, except for the wheels as usual. I painted it Humbrol metallic black, topped with automotive 2k clear, added PE badges and seatbelts, and put the FG Model HRE P40 21' underneath. Here it is: The engine bay: http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z93/janositamas/BlackseriesLaFerrari13_zps395cbbe9.jpg Thanks for watching!

Thank you guys. The Forged Monza rims of Kahn suit Ferraris better, this set of rims suit only to the 599 as for me. Phil, I bought the set at HobbyEasy, the size is 21' :-)

Hi Guys, Here's my next one, this time the Kahn 599 GTB. My inspiration was this picture, the car looks so stunning I just had to build it: I used the Fujimi DX kit, exterior is Tamiya gun metal topped with 2k automotive clear with some golden effect pigment in it, interior is Tamiya flat brown & black with some carbon effect, that's it. Here it is: Just in case you better like studio-like pics, here it is with white background: I don't know which is better, I leave it up to your taste, thanks for watching!

Thanks, Redneck, this is some purple chameleon pigments in 2k clear over matte black :-)

Hi Guys, Here is my Revell Ferrari California with the HobbyDesign Novitec Rosso transkit (resin + PE). Forgive the color if hurts, it is custom mixed chameleon purple pearl powder in 2k clear over matte black. It shows bright purple to black effect depending the amount of light, hope you don't mind I gave it a try. Everything else is stock + transkit, the interior is dark red, calipers are yellow with Novitec decals, taillights are darkened. Here are is the car with white background: With some grey brickwall: And with black finally: Hope you like it!
