  1. I can explain this I actually emailed the mechanic that was responsibe for the cars for The Dukes of Hazzard, and was told this There were 309 GL's aproxamitly 400 patrol cars 15 Uncle Jesse's Pickups 20 Boss Hogg Cadillac's 2 Daisy's '74 roadrunners 5 Daisy's '71 Satellitte Sebrings 7 cooter's wreckers, and pickups and Over 25 Daisy's jeeps. Thanks Kevin.
  2. I like the other set of wheels in the backround, thats a nice looking merc.
  3. Ok now the new kit, Oh forgot to tell what daisy's jeep was on the TV show, the very first was a 1980 Jeep CJ-7 Golden Eagle, Oh here are the parts I can use on my other jeeps.
  4. Well in the beginig of the goin' ons of this here tale of them Dukes, the General Lee Gots swamped, so them Duke Boys borrowed Daisy's Jeep, while chasin' them boys that Boss Hogg and Roscoe done hired to fake rob Boss' bank, and blame it on them Duke Boys, them bad fellers done made the Dukes wreck cousin Daisy's jeep, so they called Cooter, he didn't have his wrecker runnin' so he borrowed one from his buddy, well fished them Dukes and Ol' Daisy's jeep out of the ditch and hauled em' back to the Hazzard Garage. Any way I got this Jeep off Bob Baunman, it's the 2005 movie release, I'm going to use some parts from my old built up that I did when I was around 8-9, when I first started building. I managed to pull some extra parts out that I can use on my two upcoming jeep I'm gonna build, My Jeep FJ route van, and Jeep Dispatcher postal jeep. Here's Daisy's TV Jeep Ol' Cooter haulin' Daisy's Jeep back to the Garage (My old jeep)
  5. Bob Bauman was nice enough to trade me a AMT Daisy's jeep (2005 reissue) which i'm going to use to build daisy's jeep again, ( the first one was built as my 3rd model ever.) So thank you Bob Bauman, it was and always will be a pleasure to trade with you. Thanks.
  6. I've seen that on cars up here, I help build derby cars with my uncle, for my cousin to run, and quite a few times after we hauled it back and started taking parts off, like the carpet in side and find flinstones style rust holes in the floor boards. found the same thing when i was looking for my car i looked at a beautiful duster with a very fair price and crawled under and the floor pans, and trunk floor were rusted all to hell. too bad it was a 74 duster with a 340 and 727 automatic tranny.
  7. Yeah that's handy to know, thanks for sharing that. Yeah the color really flows nicely on this Bee. It's my favorite car so far that I've built. You wanna play too. Sure.
  8. it's never too late, your in. what year is the chevy? Ok well keep building it's shaping up nicely.
  9. 1.)sure i sorta meant to correct that. 2.)yes and no. 3.) as much as you like as long as it retains some what of a factory look as far as the body's concerned. 4.)as long as it has a bed and a automative brand go for it. Sure I'll add you to the list.
  10. ok cool. when i said the lettering on the tail gate i meant VW
  11. Wow now that's a wild card. Can I make a suggestion, maybe when you build the bed have the top rails and letters on the tail gate like a old school chevy, dodge, or ford stepside/ fleetside.
  12. Ok. Cool. What about a push bar? Are you going to build one or?
  13. Hi Clay, I like your idea, but If you Don't mind I have 2 bones to pick with you, Are you going to be using a set of amaerican racing vectors? And If I was you i wouldn't put the spiler on, and this is just sort of a idea but Maybe you should paint the tail panel semi gloss black the '69 GL's.
  14. Ooops forgot that was the old transsmision i replaced it after noticig the same thing, Duh should have noticed.
  15. Well lets see some progress Eelco Love the bettle with the Rolls front clip, thats so cool.
  16. Well yep I knew that I was just trying to find a good word to describe it. Thanks. Uh it's let me look here, Rust-Oleum, Painter's Touch, multi purpose, paint, Khaki- Kaki, N2005. It would be nice on a Ford F-1, Actually it is a Th400 Not Th350
