Ok me being who I am, I ask This very question to my self all the time, Thanks to the big 2 we don't have very many, and if your me who builds almost nothing but trucks, you either have to pay tooth and nail, or buy junkers at yard sales, trade for junkers, which require a lot more work than a new kit, I teel ya. I already made a list of the truck, vans and suv's I'd like to see realeased in styrene, a reissue of the 60 ford pickup a '46 ford 1/2 ton a '61- '66 econoline van or pickup a '67 - '74 econoline van a '67- '72 ford f-100 - f-350 a reissue of the '73-'79 ford picup kits a '74- '79 super cab ford pickup a resisue of the '75 - '91 ford econoline van kits a reissue of the ford currier kits a '74- '79 ford crew cab pickup a '83- '92 ford ranger some reissues of the ford pickups from '80- '96 a '66 -'69 bronco roadster a '66- '73 bronco pickup a '66- '77 bronco wagon a '73-'91 GMC jimmy a '54-'55 chevy 3100 a '47- '55 GMC pickup a '67- '72 small back window GM a '60-'66 GMC pickup a reissue of all the old '67- '72 chevy's and GMC's a reissue of all the '73 - '93 dodge trucks a '94-'02 dodge ram extended cab there's plenty more were those came from.

  4. Thank you Kevin. Well If it has a standard tranny then the turn signal lever is on the right not left. I know that ones a standard and ones a auto.
  5. Notice my correct steering column and steering wheel not to mention correct CB location.
  6. Well I came in here cooter had it, he had almost finished the body, but he was asleep again, that dang shade tree mechanic, always asleep on the job.

Actually the roadrunner Daisy drove in the first five epsisodes is a '74, but are you talking about the '71 sattelitte sebring she drove the rest of the first season and part of the second. Wow.
  10. Thank you. I noticed that the first time around. Yeah I know, I looked for the last 3 years for the Revell CJ-7 but had no luck then this baby poped up and I was all over it, like stink on a turd. Thanks. Yep, she's a CJ-5 but hey make do with what you have.

  12. Ok I also got a coat of my homemade Jeep blue on my jeep engine I painted some of the black details needed And I assembled the chassis, Enjoy.
  13. Ok Well I found Cooter asleep so I woke him He said " Come back in a little while and I'll have some more done." So here's what I found done, Back to reality, I mixed the proper engine color for my jeep, 2 shades lighter than ford engine blue ok from the left to right, Left Testors Gloss light blue, center Testors Gloss bright blue , Right Jeep engine blue I scratch built the steering column and a turn signal lever More info and pictures in next post.
  14. Thanks. Just to clear something up, were the clear pool is on the left front fender I've just fixed that.
  15. Well The Duke boys came in the Garage to find Daisy's jeep almost like new, But Cooter asleep on the grease rack. Here's what Cooter has finished since the Duke Boys told me last. Daisy's real dash My dash wih scratch built foam top. I cleared all the body parts with two coats of clear.

  17. Well Cooter gots Daisy's Jeep up on the grease rack and noticed a craked frame so Cooter tore down the Jeep and started from the ground up. Any way back to reality, I airbrushed the seats with Testors flat brown, I made a dash board top and painted it aswell as I made some sun visors and painted those. I got a chance to day to do my painting so I painted all 6 colors, plastikote semi gloss White, armour coat & duplicolor black, testors gloss light blue, testors gloss red, testors silver, and testors flat brown. I assembled the transfer case, grlle and roll bar, I decaled the hood fully and cleared the hood rollbar and grille.
