  1. Jeff you better leave and take your cart with you, I'd hate to see this happen;
  2. it's never had more than a tune up performed on it. hope this is of use for your Dillinger, ? Capone build.
  3. Mark somehow I think if I did indeed apoligize I wouldn't get any reconition from you, and it would be infact a waste of time and breathe. As for mis quoting here's an exact quote "Sent 14 May 2010 - 04:34 PM I'm Very sorry about the way I have acted, I've been way overdefensive. Nick " "Sent 14 May 2010 - 05:03 PM Seriously Nick, are you Bi-Polar? What the hell is wrong with you? After just looking at all those responses you made, many of which were deleted, you send me that half assed apology? Maybe you were unaware that I saw what you posted, after all I was posting when you sent that PM. What a shameful thing to say to trogdor (among other things): Who cares when you started, don't give me this, I don't care if you had to walk 10 miles both ways to and from school, go back to the retirement home grandpa. Really, I am asking this in all earnestness, what is wrong with you?" Happy now, Firebird wrecking is half decent, the Rescuing truckers one, was at most half hearted atempt at humor, Did I say that I was a Trucker look back Mark, you just mis-quoted me, my words were something to the tune of I have a family tie to trucking and that career goes back a few generations in my family and that it reflects on my personality and intrests. you want to see what I'm working on in 1:1 Mark, check the 1:1 truck reference for a post called "My Mess" it's rough, but I like it. Mark that time would have been mid-march when I started the forum within the first 48 hourse we had between 5 and 7 members. We currently as of May 28th 2010 have 27 members in good standing. Mark, opinions are great but you seem to really enjoy shooting yours off all the time. Mark, I really don't give a ###### about what level YOU built at at 14, your not me, I build at MY level, not yours, you are not me. That's pretty good, I like that.
  4. It's a 1 ton single wheel that was ordered to be a tow truck, the garage deceided they'd trade it in for a wrecker package truck you could get from GM at the time, which was a good choice on there part after all this truck dosen't have any of the light hook ups or electrical wiring. it would be good for that I guess, but for now she still has to work for her keep.
  5. My family have 3 things thy do, they farm, the drive a rig, or the find other work. if I become a Trucker I'll be the 5th generation of Truckers in my family. Skip, I normally would just go for the hazzard county garage but I'm gonna build those wreckers anyway and I'd rather have 2 company's the TV Towers and my local yokles.
  6. This is my grandfathers workhorse Rodney, the S10 is his baby, the paint isn't done still has to get 1 more coat then cleared.
  7. Thanks guys this is my uncles baby, but he's being forced to sell the farm and can't take it with him, but he'll have it back one day, might not be full scale though
  8. That's true now if there was only a way to spin them around and keep them on the round side
  9. David Your correct that was what I was reffering to.
  10. Thanks Ron, I'll have to print those.
  11. well the title I figure says it all, "The rest is around here somewhere"
  12. this car trailer was parked 30 years ago, tree's grew around it, now that my uncle is being forced to move, he had to chop it out, he's going to weld a new floor and re weld it, aswell as give it a coat of paint, That's were it was, you can see the stumps now the trailer "I think it needs new tires Uncle Glenn" (All 4 look like that) one more of the rrandom car parts guys.
  13. That engine is unmolested and original, only ever been tuned up every year. look for "Tetanus Trailer"
  14. Started as a 1930 Ford Model A 4 Door sedan, in the 60's it was chopped up because of rust, and was used as a shop truck, in the 70's a scout half cab roof was welded on, my great uncle bought it and drove it as his personal parts getter, do to my uncle having to move it is currently for sale, if you live in this area and are interested PM me for details I'd rather a Car guy get it than to see it cobbled and chopped to dust.
  15. Why yes it is, it's a '57 Silver shadow or cloud or something. in it's future I See, I see a Restoration. This was the last pic I took, my batteries took a early vacation. But I do have other pictures from before be on the lookout for "That was a Car?"
  16. '67 Mustang GT Convertible, restored 10 years ago, been sitting in the paint booth for 2 years.
  17. ok I posted my truck as #6 so this truck will be #7 this is my grandfathers other truck, he bought it in '85 after he realized his S10 wasn't gonna cut it for work, this was ordered by a company to be a wrecker, it's a 3500 Silverado single wheel stepside, they were going to put the boom in the bed, but they deceided to just order a Wrecker package from GM instead so my grandfather bought her at 6 months old. Right now she's getting new paint, and a new bed floor.
