  1. Not quite as fancy,but I like the stern of my Ersatzia!The windows are brass wire epoxied to a piece of blue celluloid.

  5. I first bought this kit in the mid seventies but it was lost in a move.I recently found this kit on the Bay for a reasonable price.Should be fun although i know it is the Cutty Sark with the correct figurehead and decals.
  6. Finished up the rigging but the float test did not go well!The ship either listed to port or starboard and the addition of lead shot only caused it to sink.Oh well I guess it will have to remain in dry dock display.

  10. Added he mizzen and rigged the shrouds and partially tied the ratlines.

  12. Not really as iintend to float it in the pool.Post pics of your oil wash technique.
  13. Mounted up the fore mast.Failed to account for the ballast in the hull so the kit supplied ratlines are too short.I will have to make my own.I have done so before but it is nether fun nor quick.
