  1. The chrome front axle,tie rod and radius rods are structural components so I used 2 part epoxy to ensure strength.

  4. Yep!Just had to order the front and rear bumpers from the Modelhaus and give it a quick respray of Tamiya Gold Leaf!

  6. I was really impressed that MPC could make a tool that produced the frame in one piece.I expected to have to the make it from 4 pieces which could have caused alignment issues.

Hey Chepp.i dont think i could just throw it together like that.Even if the recipient did not notice the lack of effort,I would know! i built a '69 Firebird that i converted to a conv that matches my brother in law's 1:1 car and he was thrilled.came out pretty well even if it was not super detailed.
  10. I wanted rear louvers for my next project and decided to make them.I cut 2 strips with cutouts to fit the window frame and put 2 alligator clips on them .The clips held the frame in place while i clued the louvers on.Worked well.
  11. Yeah dudes!I figure if there was some mystery(does he mean radial tires or radial a/c engines)the thread would garner more interest and replies and it seems i have succeeded!
