  4. thank you! i might change a couple of things though! after looking at the front nose on the jag, it would be difficult to cut out the head lights and make buckets for it! its a very tight area inside the body! and one other thing i am going to need white TWR decals!
  5. hey guys, here is a pic of the kit! here is a pic of the deep dish wheels mock-up! all i did so far is take the inner wheel move it to the outside to give the deep dish look! here is the stock wheel next to the deep dish! thanks for looking!
  6. i have had fantastic finishes with krylon! and for a clear gloss, use krylon triple glaze clear coat gloss! i have had the best finish with it!
  7. thank you for the ideas! i didn't like the fog lights on the twr jag, but they fit it! and fill in the vent? HUM......... i never thought of that! thank you very much! i plan n trimming the middle vent out of the bonnet and i am going to have to make my own wing! FUN!!!! lol! one thing i am going to have perfect is the vents on the top of the rear finders! oh, and the rear is going to get the full treatment too!

  17. hey fujimilover, i never have built with a trans kit before, but i would give it a try! just like this one, i really want to build it! its for the tamiya 1/12 ferrari f50, and if you look on the right of the page it shows from stock version and the gt transkit!!!! http://www.autoplacemodel.com/product/prod...gtcomplete.html this f50gt transkit is a dream build for me!
  18. hey jeff, at least you have the dry heat!!!!!! i am in florida where it topping about 95* But it feels hotter with the dang humidity! it will get so hot, if i go to my car and turn on the a/c full blast right when i get in it, the cold air will crack the windows! it has happened to me before!!!!! i wish i was in washington its 60*s!
  19. does any body have any stripe ideas?
  20. haven't made up my mind yet! i am going yellow with base and then maybe red and orange two-tone stripe designs! and maybe something extra to go on it! and this is FAR from done!!!! i got a long ways to go! like i said, i don't have instructions for it, so i am building it with my knowledge from working at a autoshop!
  21. as promissed, here is a couple of more pics! if you look closely, i painted the chassis satin black then with the wet paint i threw it into the sand box! i let the paint dry, brushed off the access, and then spray it again with the black! it was to give the frame a protective rust coating! kinda like the rhino bed liner! lol!!! this is all i have done so far! next i have to trim the cab interior down for it to fit better!!!! hope you guys like it!
  22. ok, diymirage, i might be back in the game!!!! lol! this is what i want to enter: and the end finish should look like: a special rare TWR Jaguar XJ220R!!! can i enter this instead of the previous entries i thought i was getting but didn't!
