thats true. what about black "smoked" chrome that will look sweet. but money is an issue. and yes about deloreans, the oxidize and scratch. to bad you couldn't put like 20 coast of clear on it to protect it! lol i have a hot wheels bugatti thats chrome like that. and its really nice. i almost got a die-cast of the chrome cobra, until i saw the price tag and how much it would be to ship it. so i had to put on my wish list. -
hey kasey thaks for the help with the pics problem. nice celica. is it tamiya? and do they make a 1998 toyota celia gt4? nice rims. they look sweet!

its not that toxic. will i go out side and use it. if you are inside you need a well vented area. it does have a smell to it but its not to strong. and yes remove all plastic. only use it on metal, wood, cement, etc. not plastic or glass. i will go to ace tomorrow i need to get some any ways i will take pics and post them. the stuff works great. a little messy though but it works great. -

Repainting a 1/43 die-cast model
B_rad88 replied to FujimiLover's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
i my self strip it. i use paint remover. made for removing thick, caked-on, multi-layers. i forgot the exact name of it but that is the discription of it. the paint remover is like a gel/goop type. just poor it over the car(make sure you strip the car of all wiows, etc.) and let it soak for only a little bit and you should see the paint start to bubble. it works in 5-10 mins or less. i use an old toothbrush and papertowels and brush it off. clean it, let it dry, then i wash and rinse. then let it dry again. if paint doesn't stick to it, then you didn't wash well enough. i hope that will help. thats what i do with all die-cast models 1/64 scale to 1/12 scale an everything between. -
old model kit....... revell hot rod cobra street machine!
B_rad88 replied to B_rad88's topic in WIP: Model Cars
the big kicker is that i got this revell hot rod cobra street machine model plus a early '80's amt/ertl 33 willy's molded in blue plus a 1984 revell '60 corvette with the pain in my butt multi-piece body! all this i got at the local fleamarket for $5.00! i craped my self and paid the nice old lady. the only thing missing is the rims and tyres for the 33 willy but thats ok. i don't like that rims it came with so i am going to put on another set. 1st the revell 2nd the amt/ertl 3rd revell multi-piece body -

thanks for the warning on custom work. my dad had one when i was 5 or 6, it broke down alot. if you want to let a set go please pm me for more info please. why am i lucky to get the smoked windows? are they hard to find.? and sorry yes its a hatch not a coupe. sorry for the wrong info on that! the only reason i want to do some custom work is to freshen the bodya little. not really cut it up, but mold a differet rear bumper or possibly a little chin work on the front. thats about it. thank you blue coyote! thank you everyone for the help! -
