  3. Wife bought me the Rehn-Morrison camaro, going to do the grumpy camaro tribute pro stock, the kit looks really clean, as far as the slag on tree an body, has some Hugh rear slicks. Thy are the 2 piece, side wall type. Have the rear break lines an booster in, also made a oil tank for the back too, will post a few pics if anyone wants too see an update, also, I got burnt on the blue max decals, have not heard a word. I have some off the wall old decals, maybe make up a sponsor just to finish it, lol take care all.

  12. Has anyone ever built a pair of tear drop wings, the type that use to be used under the mid section of the car! Like on the 73 Blue max F/c, just kinda wanted a cpl ideas on mounting them, I have made the wing part, thanks all.

Sure Chris, that will shelp, what I have isn't working, "too big" won't fit thru hood blower cut out, lol, need a better idea or setup, other then.that mines doing ok, I have used a few of your setups, well, not as detailed, but.basic, I liked the red primer look on the oil tank you did, looked cool, was that flat red, or real primer?.
  17. Thank you all for support and tips. The body cleaned up nice, moving on. I have modified the rear end and made some extra supports and a oil break fluid tank, thanks for looking, will ad a cpl pic's if I can.
  18. well, My Vega F/c Body for the Green Elephant looks like Tom's Now, lol, I did the first cover coat and had small Air pin bubbles in it, wet sanded it, and then it looksed like it was in a Hail Storm, lol,,soaking now in Super Clean, Keep ya updated,,

Ok, The Elephant was going well, I put the first 2-3 mist coats on the car, and was looking good still, Then I went for the 1st cover coat, and..as it dried, I noticed the little bubbles forming in the hood and side, yup, Moisture in the air! So no, Its into the SUPER CLEAN, and its not working too good, been in about 20 hrs now, and just now started peeling off, Sucks, Ill post a pic from my cell phone in a bit,Agh..

  23. Well no blue max decals so started my Green Elephant 1/25, don Schumacher Revell 1994 donor kit. Slixx decals, going to wire out, an do fuel linkage, 1st time for blower linkage and cables. Lever cables, etc. I have the chassie 80% and plumb, need to do some detail work, ad'ed a few bar supports to make it level. Hate the 2 piece tires. So replacing them with solid wreankle wall slicks. But its off..thank for looking, and any tips or input will help!
