  1. This is a kit I finished a little while ago, a 1950s Chevrolet 3100 Pickup. Sorry for the lack fo pics. This kit was molded (body) in color, but I didn't much like the creamy tan. I sprayed it flat black with a coat of clear for a tough semi-gloss look. This was an AMT/ERTL bonus pack, which included everything needed for assembly. It went together pretty well, and I thouroughly enjoyed assembling it, and I imagine anyone else who enjoys a good classic would to. Thanks! stw
  2. Hello everyone! This is a model I finished a while back for my little cousin. It is a Polar Lights '65 GTO. Clearly the decals from a Jeff Gordon model kit were applied at the suggestion of my NASCAR loving cousin. (Well, I had a part in it too) This kit was supposed a snap-together w/o paint or glue, but believe you me, it needed it. The parts were all weird colors and sometimes the simple snap construction needed the extra adhesion of glue. But, it was a very good kit, it went together nicely w/o a hitch, and the pre-painted plastic body is fantastic and saves a lot of time. (I thought it was die-cast!) I was pretty impressed by the detail in the kit and would reccomend it for any GTO fan. Thanks! stw
  3. I recently finished a Revell 2n1 '86 Monte Carlo, which I thought I might show you guys. There are a few blemishes, (fingerprints, splotches, etc.) But overall I am very pleased with the result. The color is Testor's Ruby Red Metallic used w/o clear coat or primer. I went with fuel injection and the stock wheels, (look up the kit, the others are ridiculous) This kit went togethter very well with a minimal ammount of problems, (hood won't sit right, etc.) I would wholeheartedly reccomend this kit to someone who wanetd a good looking and moderately difficult assembling representation of a timeless classic, the Monte Carlo. Thanks! stw
