I have some set from special apperance decals. I do not think they are still around. I am hoping Chuck will have a new set ready by the time I get this to the decal stage. hint hint

Thanks for the kind words all.
Just getting ready to finish a quick out of box build on the 67 GTX.

Will start on mine this week, I hope.
If all goes as planned it will be a Don Grotheer car.

Just luck, Found it on ebay.

Jake King painted the Sox & martin Hemis blue. I have not been able to tell if and when they ever were orange. Up to 1970 I have found they were blue.
I used the magazine photos I have a for reference. The cover of SuperStock June 1968 has a nice photos of the motor.
Thanks for asking.

This is my first build in almost a year. Being a new dad really cut into the bench time.
This is a resin kit from Bandit resin. I messed up the paint several times so this is as good as this one is going to get.
I had several fit up issues but I am ok with how it turned out.
Thanks for looking

I tried lots of different clears some with really bad results. I have settled on Testors wet look and have never had a cracking issue or problems going over decals.

Tons for photos here. This was the page I used for my Ramchargers Cuda build from a few years ago.

I oned one and you build is very nice indeed.

Looking good.

I also have seen the Chrome bumper cars in photos from NHRA races as well.
The class was new and evolving every race. Great times to be sure.
love all the interest the new kit a stirred up.
Thanks for posting all of you.

Got mine this week and I think it is a very nice kit overall.
It will serve as a great base for many other racers. I hope the decal makers take note and start offering up some other choices.

Outstanding work.

The chassis is a tubbed resin A body chassis off ebay. It looks to be based on the AMT Duster chassis.
He has them posted all the time.
Thanks

Do you have any decals planned for the new Sox & Martin Cuda kit?

Speed city resin has great tires for this kit.

Ordered my first one yesterday.
One of many as I can think of several other Pro Stock Cudas that this will be great for.

That and NHRA adding so much weight to the Hemi cars. The Ramchargers book has a great chapter on the attitude NHRA had towards the Chrysler camp.
By Automatic I assume you mean the lenco. It made a lot of average drivers suddenly competitive that is sure.

Thanks for the detailed review.
I am thrilled this kit is out. After 44 years the Sox & Martin cars still find a place on the hobby shops shelves.
I will be building one but I think I will use paint and slixx decals. It will set nev
Thanks again to Revell.

I always thought the same thing about that photo. Looks altered.

I can see the resin casters filling in the void if revell does not.
