  1. Thought I would leave a little introduction here. I've been away from the hobby for about 25 years, and started back about a year and a half ago. Came back to the hobby after buying a Lindberg L700 on a whim, and got the addiction again. Being old school (I'm 43) it's been a blast building some of the repops that I built in my early teens (and before). I've been lurking on here for quite a while now, and figured it was time to open my mouth and insert my foot. <grin> I'm mostly into truck and nascar builds, but lately have been building anything that really catches my eye. (aka: the stockpile is out of control) I've found that after that long of a time, my skills have deteriorated badly, but are coming back as I learn more and more of the different products and proceedures that weren't even a dream many years ago. Every build seems to show some improvement, but there are still some polished turds on the shelf (and some that don't even look polished). I look forward to visiting here alot more, and maybe even coming out of my shell and posting some more, and maybe even sharing some of my turds with the group Thanks for all the tips I've learned so far Steve

  4. Hello everyone; I've been lurking on here for a couple months now, and finally joined, and now finally got up the nerve to post on here. This is kinda off topic, but been out of the hobby for almost 20 years, and came back to it about a year and a half ago. After following this thread for a while, I would like to know if it's too late to enter? Seems to be a perfect way to improve my skills further than what they are now. If it's not too late, I'll let in on what my thoughts are as to my submission, but more than likely be early 70s old skool american muscle Thanks, and thanks for all the tips and tricks I've learned on here
