Thanks guys. Jon ,you got me I tried and tried to get them the same they just didnt want to play ball, but they're only pinned in place.Might have to raid wifeys el cam kit and snag her headers to play with
  8. Beyond cool, well thought out and awesomely executed. Well done
  9. Thanks guys. Lee,decals and I have an understanding, I dont like them and they dont like me. Once kit decals reach about 18 months to 2 years,I always have issues with them. Andy, I have lots of builds that aren't drag cars (really its pretty 50/50 ) but nobody really notices. But its good to build something a little different now and again, helps prevent burnout ( the bad kind) and muscle cars are almost as cool. But dont worry I gotta couple of builds planned I think you'll really like .
  10. cool or should that be hot? I dunno . Great job anyway Joe

  17. Chris, heres a pic from a vid capture off american nitro, probably one of the more reliable untouched sources around theres a few more pics here http://s1188.photobucket.com/albums/z410/doorslammerfan/reference%20stuff/ hope this helps buddy
  18. Beautifully done ( as usual ) Roger, great work
  19. thanks guys , appreciate it, going to leave it as is. Now next question should I leave the pipes staggered or cut them down to the same length ?
  20. While I too will stick with primers (I only use auto lacquer or nail polish thinned with the same lacquer thinners) I have to agree that color coats do show the flaws up better than primer. That said, its already looking good and I think the updated HUG should look great.
  21. Thanks guys quick question. Should I do the roof insert brown (leather), satin black or leave as is?
  22. thanks guys, delved into the parts box and styrene supplies before I went to the paint stand today, with front shocks and radiator coming from one and the top shock mount/ headlight mounts coming from the other paint is a green nail polish over coarse aluminum DuPont, and grille is some fly screen (I think) mesh
