  1. Very cool! The only comment I have is the placement of the exhaust pipes right at the rear tires. I would have had them exit out the sides, in front of the tires, or straight out the back... but not directly at the tires.

Thanks! Yeah I didn't think the exhaust setup through like I should have. I already had everything glued in place and didn't wanna break the engine lose again lol. I wanted them out the sides in front of the tires but the tubing kept kinking badly. Still a lot to learn with it.

  2. Impressive build Tim well done B)

    That build is beautiful!

    Great build!

Absolutely amazing.Being original and thinking out of the box rules-A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !!!

    Waykool...

Mighty fine looking Falcon.  The changes you made are subtle, but make this build one of a kind.  Thanks for sharing it.

I'd own that in 1:1 and be proud to be seen in it and I'm Mopar, (maybe I could put a HEMI in it). Beautiful

    Looking mighty fine.

    Beautiful build!

Sweet looking Falcon in and out.

    Nice clean build, looks great.

    Sharpe looking Falcon  !

    Very nice!!!!!!

    Thanks everyone!

  3. This was a simple curbside kit I built while I was taking breaks from my Falcon build, it's painted Dupli-color Metal Specks Burnt Copper over a black base. I used a Fujimi wheel set, Watanabe RS in 15 inch. I also made an exhaust tip from aluminum tubing. It's not as clean as I want it to be, had problems getting the front grille painted from shaking, may go back and paint it black.

  4. This build was a lot of firsts for me. First time kit bashing more than just a couple parts. I'll start with the body, painted Ford Dark Shadow Gray.  First  time adding/grafting a cowl. Other body modifications are shaved door handles and emblems all around. The antennae hole is also shaved. Chrome trim is done with bare metal foil. For the interior I flocked the floor for carpeting, added photo etch sunglasses and modified another piece of photo etch to simulate cup holders. The rear seat is the kit seat, the front seats are modified from a Monogram 92 Ford Mustang Gt kit because I wanted it to fit the custom look on the inside. The inner door locks are shaved. The steering column is scratch built from aluminum tubing and the steering wheel is from the Lindberg 38 Ford Custom Van. First time adding seat belts to any of my builds. For the engine I used the Boss Coyote 5.0 from the Revell 2013 Boss Mustang, the air intake tube is scratch built from solder. The headers are also scratch built from solder. The radiator and electric fan is also from the Boss Mustang kit. The exhaust is scratch built with aluminum tubing and polished with aftermarket flow master style mufflers from sweet scale detail. For the chassis, the rear axle and leaf springs are the kit parts, the front suspension is from the Lindberg 38 Ford custom Van to get it low up front. The rear leaf springs were heated and bent to lower the rear. The wheels are Pegasus Chrome T's. 19" in the front 23" in the back with Pegasus rotors and calipers. Next time I make my own exhaust pipes I will plan it out better. Hope you all like!

  5. Geez, if you aren't happy with how that came out, I'd say you need a vision test! That is very nicely detailed and looks great from where I am sitting. Love that color and the painted wheels to match!

Thanks! I'm very happy with how it turned out. I just keep striving for perfection and have the bar set high for myself. But there's a few things about it that I wished I spent more time on to make it a little better in my eyes.

  6. That is awesome love the detail!

Wow, great work tim!  Looks amazing, great color and paint work.

Tim, That Paint looks like Glass and the Engine compartment is Very Clean. Nicely Done.

Very nice! I had one the same color new in 1969.

    Nice clean build.

    Extremely nice job!!

    One to be proud of.

    Awesome Nova.

    Very nice!

    Very nice and clean build!

Great build, the reflection on the body sides in the pictures show what a great paint job you did.

Tim.....very nice and very very clean model......love it!!!!!

Thank you everyone! I wasn't expecting this much feedback so soon. Again, thank you all!

  7. Very nice build, great job!

    Thanks!

I think it it turned out very well, looks good.

    Thanks!

Looks good.  How'd the kit go together?

Thanks! It went together very well, no issues. I accidentally messed up the thermostat housing for the upper radiator hose but it's alright.

  8. looks great ! i like it .. could also be awsome with the staggered look .. dont know how easy it wold be to file or sand the front rings a tad less wide ?

Thanks! With my skill level it would probably be pretty hard to fill the lip on the sleeve down. If I had a lathe I could probably do it. I agree the staggered look would be awesome, but this is the next best thing for me lol.

  9. Very nice!

    Excellent!  :)  Looks great.

    Nice build.Thanks for sharing.

Another very good looking and interesting personalized version of this great '29 kit. I really like your contemporary interpretation. The color works very well with the big diameter wheels and molded firewall.

    Thanks everyone!
