  1. Thanks ! I enjoy the site, I already spend to much time here at night, just searching and looking through old posts and pics and just everything.
  2. Thanks man, I really appreciate it !
  3. It appears that I'm having a problem uploading the pics, it says that I've used 1.42mb of the avail 1.95 when I have have 0 files uploaded. I tried reloading the pic of the Z28 just to test it and it wont even let me load that. ?? You guys know what the problem is ?
  4. Thanks guys for the warm welcome ! I can already tell I'm in the right place, I'm glad to be here. Also thanks for the compliments on the Z28, I'm pretty proud of it, hopefully I can progress and get even better ! I'll checkout those companies and see what I can find. And as far as any wheels you guys have laying around that would be appropriate for a tuner let me know, I would appreciate it ! Those resin wheels look really cool, I might get with you on that. Also check out this '70 Boss 302 that I'm building on the side, I have mocked a set of Viper wheels (yes viper sorry Ford purists) and a supercharged 5.4 lightning motor. Tell me what ya think.
  5. Hi guys !! I'm a newbie to the forum, and I'm looking forward to gaining a lot of knowledge while I'm on here. Recently I was bored so I pulled out an old model I had under my bed, and decided to build it. The model, an 85' Z28. It was my favorite car as a kid, and actually owned a few, so I was happy to build it. I was happy with the finished product being that I hadn't done a model in over 5 years. So I decided to buy another model to build, while searching over the net I quickly discovered how deep and extensive the modeling hobby was. I was completely blown away by the detail, parts and level of customization that I had seen people doing. Fast forward 3 weeks, I have most of the supplies I need to get knee deep in a customization/build. Ordered some Tamiya products, including some Quick Type Epoxy Putty for fabrication and other things. If your still reading this I do actually have a question. One thing I have a hard time of understanding is, how exactly do you guys get all the different wheels and rims for your cars. Mainly the tuner cars, I really want to build my Fujimi RX7 (just bought !) with some really cool (realistic) rims. But I don't know exactly what brand to look for or what size I should be buying. All of these things are new to me so please be kind, I don't know about this stuff yet. Also I included a pic of my Z28 that I finished a few weeks ago and the pic is just the finished body. Hopefully someone reads this, sorry for the length, but I've been waiting to actually have a place for me to discuss this with people who can actually understand. Thanks, Ace-
