I always use the echlin parts on my vehicles! Great job with the build Nick!
-
I would love to have its cousin in a vintage 79! Xr-7 to be exact like mine! So i can add the little details to make it japanese!
-
Nick you should build a replica of that truck! That is one fine beauty. Thanks for supporting us at NAPA!
-
I think it was last summer, but at one of the auto shops i delivered to then had a 67 impala 4 door that same color and trim along with the same rims! it needed hood hinges. I live in Minnesota, so I dont think it was a t.v. car, but maybe a replica or just a coincidence.
-
Ok thanks Jordan! Mike i will do that lol! I like the looks of the monogram kit, because the rims that come with the latest issue look like the rims on the 1991 Silver anniversary.
-
The year doesnt matter lol! I just want to build a bronco!
-
I believe it was black! Now if they made a 71 newport 2 door in resin, that would be a great diorama build!
-
Who makes the better ford bronco kit? R/M or amt/mpc? I want to build one, but wasn't sure which one is nicer.
-
I believe it was chevy engine blue.
-
What about just grafting the 4 door roof on from the resin kit?
-
I would paint it olympic white, with a grey interior. Otherwise you could do a newer model year cobalt blue metallic.

I have three and unfortunately no pics at the moment lol. 1. 2003 saturn vue 2.2 5spd. 2. 1988 buick lesabre with only 100,000 miles. 3. 1979 mercury cougar xr7. 1 of 10 made for export. this car was originally from japan! The cougar only has 10,000 original kilometers on it! Sat in AZ for 18+ years. Unfortunately the cat needs a little work to get her driving again!

Like zoinks, Far out build man!

They don't have cold winters in so cal lol! Now if it were Minnesota, the sides would be bulging lol! That battery is really good! Scale-master, you truly are a master.
-
Looks like a 75 series battery that most gm cars and trucks use! I bet the Napa part # 7575 would match lol.
-
Yeah! Any progress yet??????? I would love to see more of this! I have always had a soft spot for the 81 and up. Especially the 87 model!
-
My dad actually owned a 1:1! Same wrecker unit and all!
-
You should be Nick! That is one stunning 57.
-
Wow this is truly amazing Jordan!
-
Nick! What can I say... Very stunning work! You did an amazing job!
-
Where did that Minnesota License plate come from?? Glad to have my state shown on here once in a while with a model! That car is super nice!
-
That is one sharp looking 73-74 Longbed! Truly beautiful!
-
Geez Nick, are you sure that's a car song? The lyrics seem a little obscure (heh!)
He could be building it for the song east bound and down, or Texas bound and flying!
-
I built one once! The revell kit is really nice! I built it to resemble the 1:1 I had a few years ago... I made the 327 look like my 283. I cant wait to see this finished!
Replica of my 1:1 ('93 Chev)
