  3. Thanks, I didn't take any pictures of the process, but maybee I can make another one and do a Post with that. . . Let's see . . .

    what happens. . . B)

Ah, And Kerc, You'll get something for Xmas, just don't freak out when the box starts VIBRATING. . .

  4. Hi.

This one is almost finished, just some paint for the grille and it's DONE!

Made a Canvas Top from Aluminum foil and masking tape, and the frame for the top is Styrene angles and strips.

My kit had some missing parts so I fabbed some and adapted the others from the parts box. . . ;)

    Here's the pics. . .

  5. Its been a while but I am still working on this one. The front suspension is glued in and I am finishing up the details in the bed. This canvas top was a lot of problems but I am happy with the results.

    Hey, it's looking good. . . ;)

    I'm almost done with mine.

I made a "canvas" top also.

What did you use for materials?

I used Aluminum Foil covered with Masking tape. . .That's what I use for the ragtops also. . .

I'll try to post some pics tonight.

  6. I was talking about this with some friends last night, while setting the rules for our upcoming event "The 5th Caribbean Scale Auto Expo" here in Puerto Rico, wich takes place on Nov. 4, 2007. There's a lot of different opinions here, but for me. . . I'll show a model for a whole year, then only use them for exhibitions. If they win during the year I compete them, then they will not compete for at least 2 years. The thing is I build new kits for each year's show and then show them for a year untill the next year's show comes.

    :blink::blink::blink: :blink:

  7. Very cool Roberto! A lot of people underestimate Small Scale, but it's actually more challenging then 1/25. Great job, especially on the little details!

Thanks, Billy. . . That thing has more parts than the 1/25th scale version. . .

  8. Ohh MAN!! This is awsome. I love the chassis work and the color is sweet. I love 4X4s and i'm guessing you like Jeeps?

Oh and I thought you could never get it "to low"? :P:lol:

Thanks Nick, I like building anything not "standard" or "stock", Low or high. . . but not Stock. . .:lol::lol::lol::P

  9. Love all of them! (except for that last one, brings out my acrophobia! {fear of heights}  :) )

It seems like we have similar tastes. I have to say, I agree with your signature! :D:D

Build quality certainly dosen't appear to be lacking either. I'd be proud of any of those. (seriously, even the last one! )

    Keep it up! B) B) B)

P.S. that New Beetle 'vert/roadster is really sweet! Makes me want to own a 1:1 car I never would otherwise!

    Thanks, Dub. . . B)

Funny thing is I made that Roadster Bettle before the REAL ones came out. . .

The Samurai and the Astro are look a likes of 1:1 cars I had, but with some added stuff. . .

    Glad you liked them :D
