To answer your question from another thread, Yes. Slowly getting back to models after many years of slotcar racing. Am trying to get two curbside cars finished to show. I will try to look you up, I may be hanging around the slotcar guys table.

I have three of those, stacked together in the original cardboard packing sleeve.

Soaking can still leave residue inside the nozzle. Get a can of carb cleaner or brake clean and stick the red tube thingy in the end of the nozzle that goes down in the can. Hold it tight and give it a shot of cleaner, cleans them right out.

And if things do build up on the inside, go find a friend that plays guitar or base. They replace their strings on a regular basis and throw the old ones away. These things are springy stainless and come in various diameters. They are great for sticking in places to clean things out.

Thanks Bill, thats what I figured. Guess I'll have to stick with D & E types.

Hello all. I've been lurking around here for a few months, and learning alot of really good stuff. After our local show & swap meet I got out a couple of old cars and started working on them again. My intrests are custom sports cars and custom hot rods, which brings up a question. Does anyone make a 1/24 or 1/25 scale C-Type Jaguar?
Thanks for all your great tips and help.
