I built cars and trucks starting from 11 years to about 20 years old. That's when life started getting busy. I got into service and technology field supporting the finance business for 45 years plus getting married and having 2 kids - there wasn't much time for models.

I have collected kits over the years and have some ridiculous number now (somewhere north of 400 - still doing inventory on them).  A lot of things have changed over these years like model companies have been sold or consolidated with others, painting is a whole new world now and of course costs!!

Now in my 64th year and retired I decided it was time to relight the model passion since I have a lot more time that I used to but there is still competition for my time - wife, lawn, wife, house projects, wife, vehicle maintenance ...... you get the picture!
