    GT-500

here she is! very basic, built in about a 2 week span, i had fun!
  2. Well, I got some stuff done on it, like painting the interior ( I just gotta paint inside the body, not sure what color yet, tho) As I was saying, I polished it as well, but I burned through ( im going to start doing more coats!) but anyway… away with blabbing! Pictures:
  3. yeah, i got that fixed, i took out a bit toooo much tho.. youll see when i get pics... its polished now, pics soon!
  4. thank you all for your kind replies! Bluesman Mark, thank you for all the info, and encouragment (that goes for everyone) i dont have any other blowers, or anything of the type, so thats going to be the one, and im not sure if the rims are from that kit, or a nother, as i have 12 of them..... i am also not using the stock intirior tub, si i have some door panels (from the torino again ) and ill be gluing thm to the side of the car, and i will put some filler around it, if it needs it, also, becasue im not suing the tub, the torino dash is also staying. it fits relitivley well around it, but im still making sure of it, and i have reshaped the tunnel. also, Randx0, i am having a ton of fun
  5. are those working headlights on the front??? looks good!
  6. Well, im new here, and this is, in my books a good build, so I figured id show some wips… now, let me tell you a bit about me first, my name is Brett, im 13, and please, don’t go easy on me, as I learn from smarter peoples criticism. Anyway, this started out as an outt’a the box build, but I figured if I was going to be making the drag edition, I needed something coming out of the hood, so I mounted a blower from my 70 Chevelle SS from Revell… and the belt is from some tamiya line tape, and I made it stick over the existing belts using some sprues… This interior was going fine, but then I decided to use a knife, and cut out the seats… bad Idea, I glued it back in, and went to bed. I couldn’t find it the next day (darn living carpet and work bench ) so, I started to cut and hack at some sprues, and found a roll cage from a 69 charger, with a fire extinguisher already molded into it, (but I have another one im going to put on the drive shaft tunnel, if that’s what it is called) and I think the tunnel came from a torino, as did the dashboard, whch I thought looked more racing like, it’s the unpainted one, and im using the painted steering wheel. Thanks for looking, Brett
  7. how do i stretch a truck frame? plese include pictures, as im not very good at learning by reading... thanks, Brett
  8. my dad also has a Peterbilt 389 glider; Its name is Orange Drop.* if anyone wants some more, mssg me! * it now has a Herd moose bumper.
  9. decals are from a revell dodge charger, i have the kit with them.... looks good!
  10. those wheels in the forst pic from the revell bullit mustang? i have a set under my 70' chevelle
  11. i was going to put a duramaxx in my chevelle, but its really had to make one!
  12. i know of 2 people in this area with a hurst olds with sunroof! theyre cool! looking good guys; my charger paint, and interior is fineshed (except the hood) and the engine is undergoing some modeifications, as is the hood; minus the aircleaner (needs black) the challlenger engine is finished, and the chassis is to. interior is no wheres near finishing chevelle paint chasssis and intirior is done. really need some work on th engine.. and have to make a scrathbuild exhaust. im not letting anyone know what kinda engine it is until the whole car is finished.
  13. if it doesent come with rims like that let me know, i can send you some
  14. hey. i was wondering about all this resin stuff, and what its all about. so, can i like, get a shelby gt 500 body, for a 1970 chassis or frame from a dodge? ( i mean, like is that sorta the idea), or is it more like something when you get a body, then savlave an intirior tub from the parts box, and make your own chassis? thanks for shedding some light on this.
  15. thanks charlie; and slant 6, i was going to do that same car, but i didny want to wreck the paint job..... the challenger has been decaled....almost... i wrecked the back half of the left side decal, if any one has that part of the 1970 dodge challenger t/a 2 in 1 street burner and wouldnt mind senging it over, that would be great!
  16. shi*y pictures.....but: chevelle ss body challenger body, before second cote and every thing and my charger got lost somewhere in the pictures, so i might have to take another, but for now, there they are.
  17. well, im not him...but...here is a crappy picture of mine:
  18. sure, i toook some pictures the other da, but this computer is aincent, and i can only use the camera on week days as it is my dads, but maybe i can hust get some cell phone pictures for proof.
  19. i personally like duplicolor automotive finish clear cote. it can be found at crappy tire (ok, canadian tire) and it dries very quick. after the paint has dried for the full cure time, 2 hours i tihnk, i use a power buffer, and mothers carnuba wax, worrks very well, just make sure to hold the parts, or else they may fly across the garage!
  20. if you want, you can add a 69 charger and a 70' challenger under the list for me, pictures as soon as this computer stops being a piece of ######.
  21. ok, thank you, illl have pictures...err, hopefully soon!
  22. ok sweet, ill have 2 entries, i just got to get the 2nd one.... as for the first, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, revvel kit
  23. ok, done, can i join? im thinking of doing a challenger, becasue the chevelle will be finished soon...
