  2. ok thanks i was wondering tho whats the differenc with the xtreme suspension vs. what i have now? or is it just already low? ive built cars and trucks since i was 8, just starten to get back into it and i want to learn how customize them, thanks
  3. started this car ooooo, about 7 or 8 years ago maybe painted the body did interior and motor all it needs is the suspension put under it the car clear coated (some reason it wasnt done when painted, i think i was gonna add graphis or somethin) and dash put in and glass put in and it be done some reasoni stoped working on it, just found it todat yohought id post my my first build post on here, (this int the first car i ever did just first one ever posted on here, let me know what you guys think)
  4. hi im just getting back in to building models, its been about 6 years since my last build, i never customized one before, the most id do would 2 tone the paint i know how sad compared to what you guys can do, im buliding a 1996 chevy s10 ss, i want to lower it 3 inches in front and 5 in rear, how would i convert/excute the drop on the model? also i want to put a 350 or some sort of chevy v-8 in it instead of the v-6 it came with, has any one done this? what do i need to do to make that work, any pics of the process would be awesome, also i ahve a 1984 gmc 4x4 that i want to convert to a 2wd stepside, to replacate my 1:1 if i ever get it done, how can i convert it from a 4x4 to a 2wd truck? any pics on that also would be great, and im sorry if this isnt the right place for this post thanks for any and al help.
  5. ok thanks diymirage, i think ill just do the pare idea i found a sign id like to use for the shop sign and a shop truck etc..... was wondering after i got it set how i wanted it and printed and then trimed of the excess paper, how would i glue/attach it to the door of a shop truck, or a billboard type sign on the side of my dio and any where else a sign or poster would be stuck up at thanks agin for your reply and info
  6. hi im new here and to makeing the scale cars look real, i was wondering if there was a way to make a 1:24 or 1:25 scale decale of a shop sign for like a sign for a dio, or a decal on the side of a shop truck any ideas or info on this topic i would be great full for thanks
  7. ok thanks guys for all your help if anyone knows of any where else i can get dio stuff like doors or figures shop tolls or even dios them selves let me know im gonna build my own thats for sure i just might start out with one that all i have to do is put together and then make it mine, after 1 or2 of those ill try my own i think, thanks again for all the in put

  9. hey thanks guys on the replies, i checked out the dio kit i could buy, and i think im gonna do that first just to ge a feel for making a dio look real as possible, since it is my first one that looks to be a good one to have and pretty close to what i wanted to build so ill try that and some of the acceriores from that site, i am how ever onna get a scale ruler so when i do try to make my own dio i will have it with me, thanks for the help and if theres any other places i could go and check out dios, or accesories let me know please, for i am new to this side of the hobby and dont know where to get that stuff thanks again
  10. hi im new to building dios and from looking here and a few other forums, ive started to gather some info and some supplies for a speed/bodyshop i want to build, now my plan is to build it prob with 2 may be 3 stalls, office with a man door windows facing out to a raod if i had one, small bath room and then the wrok area, then out side have enough room to have one or 2 cars waiting there turn to come in and be restored under a tarp or something, im wanting to build it for 1:24 and 1:25 scale models, but i dont know how to figure the messurments out for walls and windows,and man doors and the grage door openings any help here would be great thanks
  11. this dio is friggin sweet i love everything about it, i liked how you had the earth movers diggin at first, and the stick building, and the cars that your restoring in the shop, i love it all i realy like the truck with no doors and stuff, now that really looks like it was just brought in to be started on keep up the good work and hope to see more pics and lots of them

  15. wow i just read all of your post and looked at all of your pics, i love this dio, i was wondering how do you figure out the messaure ments for the grage for a 1:2 scale thanks and show lots more pics i love thesse kind of dios
