  1. Last pics for this one. Painted the door handles, added some old-school decals. I am pleased with how it turned out. DF.
  2. That is one amazing build, truck, tow truck, zombie killer thingy-ma-bob. What a great build!! DF.
  3. Thanks for the offer, I have it, just liked this one better. Prolly just me tho. DF.
  4. Just need to pick out some plates and stick them on and I am done.
  5. Thanks for the kind words. Modlbldr is correct it is the re-make of Nova by Revell. The color is Tamiya TS-42 Light Gun Metal. The 68 Vette comes with one block and two topends. Not much of Vette guy, but If I do build it I will prolly use the Nova's mtr in it. DF.
  6. John look at the thread here in on the workbench titled "Revell's 70 Challenger WIP)DF
  7. Here is a look at the paint color. It should look sweet with the final clear coat. I photoed it next to the Challenger for contrast. What do you think?
  8. Builders on this forum just amaze me..... DF.
  9. You betcha Blown 427!! DF.
  10. Since I am almost finished with the 70 Challenger I thought that I would get started on my next build. I will use Revell's re-tooled 69 Nova SS Kit and will steal the blown motor from Revell's 68 Corvette kit. I like to give paint along dry time so the body primer went down today, color will be painted tomorrow and then the whole thing will sit for a week or so while I build the motor. Here are a few pics of the kits and the primered body. DF.
  11. Thanks Diymirage/Crazyjim, The jury is still out on the mirrors for me, but I think you may be right. They will half to be black tho!! DF
  12. Here are a few more pics. Finished the under the hood details. I like how its turning out, not bad for the first time plumbing!!!
  13. MSD Ignition and coil from Morgans Automotive Detail showed up today!! Now I can finish this baby up!!
  14. Thanks, Lownslow
  15. Oh it will be finished!! Just like to paint the bodies well in advance! The Challenger is waiting on some parts. They should be here soon!!
  16. Nah...picking new project getting board with this one. I got some under the hood stuff to do, buff out the clear coat then on to the next one. I am debating between the 55 Pro Sportsman or stealing the blown 427 from Revell's 68 Corvette and stuffing it into the Revell's re-done 69 Nova SS. DF
  17. Must go old school!!!
  18. That was my original plan, but I forgot to stip the chrome and put them on b4 I painted. Then I ran out of paint!!!!!!
  19. The wheels and tires are after market by MRC. Keystones on Mickey Tompson Indy Profiles. The disc brakes are by model masters.
  20. Yep bumbers are staying black.
  21. Thanks Blake, The color is Tamiya's TS Lime Green over Tamiya's grey primer. I originally used Model masters Mopar green but screwed it up. Since I had to re-do the paint I made the change. I thought the Testors paint was too dark. What do you think of the shaved window trim? DF
  22. Hello all, I am new here. I thought I would show some pics of my current build. I am going for a resto-mod type deal. Car is just mocked up for the pics. Enjoy. DF Let me know what you all think!!
  23. Getting Back into cars. Her is what I have been up to lately. DF. Working on Revell's Streetburner T/A. Messed up the paint first time around. I stripped it and de-trimmed it. Going for the resto-mod look. I will post a build thread for the T/A. DF
