I ran the blade down the grooves and tried my best not to pop out of them, had to run it down it a few times but eventually it cleaned them out.

I got this kit off of Ebay for 9 bucks shipped! Its a little ruff! I decided to open up the trunk and found out that there was not enought trunk so Im trying the evergreen for the first time. and when my tan flok gets here it will look like a real trunk, I hope. I buit the hinges for the trunk from green card and they are a little crooked but the are functional. Im going to use testors clear coat for the first time too. I figure I'll have this build done next Tuesday, but I figured I would throw this "work in progress" out there for some suggestions on floking or clear coating. Thanks hope some one likes my rice burner.

Thanks guys. I guess Ill figure it out over time which is best for me. When I started building I brushed all my cars but that was when i was 12 now Im 27 and just started back up again and sprayed 2 already. they look alright but some of the cars on here just make me sick, Had to get some tips. When my buddy's dad saw it he was like "thats my car!" Then we stuck it in a case and he sat there the rest of the night just peeking over at it with a smile. It was actually his kit and we stoldit from him when he wasn't looking and I put it together. He would have never put it together, works to much.

I dug out some of the paint in thegrooveand then took the back edges of of the crome and most of them fit pretty snug. Some could of used a little more of the back side but was running short on time.

Yeah the wires could of went under but I cheated and bouth a PTX MINI engine and I was afraid the thin air cleaner would break. Thanks.

A buddy's dad acutally owns this car , the life size one and today was his birthday. He has no creative skills so he asked me to try my best to put it together for his dad. I started 3 weeks ago and finished up at 4:30 today. Thought you all would like to see how a novice does it LOL.

Ok,so what should I use for a clear coat? and shoud I sandthe color coat first? Any one want to explain how to put a good shine to my model. I prime it and the I hit it with a couple of coats of the little 5 dollar cans of Acrylic. What am I missing? Anybody?

Thanks I'll have to try that. So do you just put it in cracks and what not or do you coat the whole car like the other guy said to do? I have never done it before.

A lighter and a dremell, I cut thin lines on the underside of the where I wanted the bend to be then hit it with a lighter. Im just learning.

I keep reading about this, sounds like a clear coat not sure but every car Ive seen on here that has it on it looks great. Any one that can let me know what Im missing out on?

The wing camefrom Ebay, but I keep seeing this High Performance mustang kit on Ebay and I think They just made the wing from that kit out of resin and mass produced them. It took som fileing and bending to get it to fit, just like the over sized hood. I payed 12 dollars for that wing. and far as pics from your car I would just like to see them period, I am facinated by these fox bodies for some reason! Found this forum about midnight last night and I just figured out how to use photo bucket and the site alltogther now. As for the lowrider rims there yours! I should be getting it in 3 to 5 days. here are the rest of the pics. I just havnt figured out how to make the headlights look good instead of all chrome.
