  1. Maybe try truckin magazine or classic truck they have a lot of how to sections.and refrance pics and if them two dont work.maybe try mini truck website as well.on here or one of the other sites there was a person that did do a prostreet and they were very detailed what they did and how i have done it.i know revell and amt the older kits they have a chevelle that is prostreet i actually cut the back half of that and attached it to a truck one time but this is some time ago.but it is if i remember a four link suspension and ford 9" rear.it worked rather well so maybe one of these prostreet cars as well may work.hope this was some what helpful for you.look forward to seeing your build in the future.

  3. i had a similer problem with a car im working on.i used brake fluid and striped it clean im going to start over with freash plastic.my probllem i have a old kit from 1988 its a monte carlo ss i painted krylon true blue but it fisheyed and crackled but could of been the age of the kit.but i am stripping it with brake fluid that way it wont melt the plastic.you can sand and respray and hope for the best which ever works better for you.it could be the oil from your skin i actualy found regular hand soap works great for cleaning off any oil or anything.and then i spray since i been doing this its been very good paint jobs.best of luck hope this was helpful.
