  1. And here's how she looks now... I was going to fill in the door handles.. but I'm gonna try and cut the front door handles from the cab I cut up and install them on the rear doors then I'll start on the body filler tomorrow... thanks for looking and commets welcome...
  2. here's what I got done today... the running boards are made from sheet styrene... I plan on painting them with chrome alclad the cab ot the car will get some mild detaining, I'm gonna cover the hole in the floor board and add some flocking... the rear door windows and back glass will probably be tinted... thanks for looking and comments welcome... I added styrene to the back of the front bumpers to close the gap.. Tinting the rear door glasses will hide the dobule door posts from where I stretched the cab...
  3. What's up fellas.... I spent today working on a dually snapkit that I had started on.. I've got a three axle Galaxie fith wheel trailer that I am working on that will go with this one... I wanted to make it into a 4 door, and since I had two of these kits I took out the dremel tool and got to cutting... the wheels came from the r/m peterbuilt kit, and the tires are from the r/m Cadillac Escalade kit.... here's a few pics of where I started....
  4. Thanks fellas.. I really appreciate it... Randy....Derick right.. it's the AMT prostreet dually....I've lucked up and snagged a few off ebay for 18-20 bucks... Riley... I build alot of drag cars... pro mods are my favorites... And I was playing around with this to take a break from those builds.. and it just got put to the side... but I'm about to get this one wrapped up...
  5. WOW.... JUST PLAIN WOW.....
  6. Next I moved on to the interior... the window and door handles are from the parts box, the shifter is from the 67 Chevelle kit... I used wood colored paint, with tamiya clear orange painted over it for the wood trim, and added flocking to the floor... this is where the project kinda stalled..... there will be more updates to follow... thanks for looking and comments welcome...
  7. These wheels are from the dually pro street kit as well... I trimed the pieces out that were between the spokes... I think they look a lot better know...
  8. Thanks Rob... I used the big block engine from the Chevelle kit the intake came from a nascar engine... I was playing around with the ideas of these wheels at one time... This was where I got the idea from...
  9. What's up fellas... this is an older build that got put on the back burner but after looking around in here the past few days I've gotten the spark to go ahead and finish it... I took the amt longbed kit and shortened the bed.. A fellow member on here pointed out to me that I should have shortened the bed behind the rear wheel wells too.... I'll remember that for my next project.... the chassis and engine and drivetrain are from the r/m 67 Chevelle pro street kit... I got the M/T rear tires from the pro street dually snap kit.... here's a few pics to get you all up to speed...

  18. They look great Joe... glad everything worked out for you...
  19. I have to agree with Jeff, I dont think they look bad at all.. If it were me I would just mist on some different shades of metalizer burnt steel, exhaust, and aluminum like Jeff said , that way they look like some heat has run through them... Don't let this stop you Joe... they look fine.. We want to see this bad boy done....lol...
  20. Great Looking Build....
