took 2 hrs an 3 PE brackets lost or damaged....but got the return spring on ..lol later days... Davin

ok i was gonna use PE wipers .. but them things are a pain in the butt... so i used the kit ones but with a twist.. i drilled the body an added a short pin an then drilled a hole in the wiper.an added the wiper with out glue .. now you have to move them buy hand one at a time but they are functional.. brake lines finnaly glued in .. got the PE frame around the good ol CNH 320.. got one more pic

i some what agree .. but life happens.. this is a car an build ive long been waiting to do so rushing it was not an option.. i wanted to build the most detailed general lee charger i could .. so yes i took my sweet time on it ... lol

what are you getting at ... ????? i never knew there was a time frame for builing a wip... dont like the speed of progress dont waist ur time looking .. and if you have a frustration do it in ur own thead not mine !!!!!! .. good things come to those who wait .. later days ..Davin

sounds like a personal prob to me ... i have six kids and a full time job . an a house that needs work . so sry if my build time dosent meet ur satifaction.. i may get an hr a day if im lucky to build.. have a nice day sir ...

yeah you must have missed the post on the headlights .... there scratched built and used the PE grill. an headlight buckets from a 64 impala.... will have a new update tonight ... did another workin feature on the general.. just a few more hrs an she should be under glass bound... till tonight .. later days Davin

im looking for a shot or two of the engine that came with the testors metal kit of the pt cruiser. and if it has seperate peices like , valve cover . head , intake ..an so on . any help would be awsome ..thanks

i think they were( western wheels) chrome 5 slot (i think steel wheels).... so yes they are aftermarket....

ok gettin told that i should do some rollbar padding .. i wanted to do some but didnt . now im glad i was talked in to it... got some more engine detail done before i ripped it apart an added the padding..... lol enjoy.... later days.... davin

Oh I know... but if I did it I would want to put padding in the so-called Normal spots.not just in one spot you kw what I mean ... LOL we'll see I'll look in to it when I get home. Yeah I did .. if you look at the front upper windshield loop its already touching the window .... I may give it another look. But I didn't want to pull the tub out again .. we'll see. I may just pull it out cuz I really wanted padding in. Later days ...... davin

Thanks for the comments ... as for the roll bar. I was gonna put padding on but the cage is so close to the roof the floor pan wouldn't fit in flush.... but I did think about doing it .....lol

lill update ... shes starting to look like a car now... lol lill engine shots... enjoy the shot itll be done soon.. later days davin lookin at my pics looks like i need to do some touch up on some paint ...lol

Thanks for the complaints ...yeah Ied say I'm pretty pleased at how this has turned out so far.... I had some issues in the beginning of the build. As well as some frustrations ... bit it all coming together.... Later days davin
