ok lil update on this one . got the body in primer still doin body work to the hood to smooth it out,got the wing on.. cut the kit coil sp[rings out an added aluminum wire coated blue as new coil springs... later days .......davin

well got the general back on the bench sould have it done soon .. and since i started with the 68 2in 1 kit ,so it should be eligible for the gearz contest so im gonna get it done by the dead line an see. well here goes got the interior done , windows in ,tail panel on ... thats it for now... later days davin.... under glass soon to come

nice .. i got a rebuilder off ebay for 4.50 , an about a month later i got the gone fishing set off ebay for less than 25.00 in the box. lookin forward to seein this done.

ive been tryin to cast them tachs from the sportsman kit.. some are good an some have no shift light...lol but still all useable..

I would love to join the club. I live in bunker hill ,ill. Its 40 to 45 min away. An I've been in Springfield. For the past few days. My wife is in Springfield. Memorial. Been there since Thursday morning. But I don't have a 32. I build mostly muscle cars.. What's the address .. Later days saving.

man i hear ya on that .. i have 6 kids between me an my wife.. work 50+ hours aweek.. hears what i try to do after dinner , kids get showers an ready for bed , i go to my bench at 8 pm an do some work till 10 .. work almost every night .. oh an 4 out of 6 have softball prac an or games... later days ... thanks .. well for one ur right i did mount them upside down , but ther not glued . it was a quick mock up for pic.. as far as the bolts go .. i kw i added more.....i mean come on its a 615 pro stock motor.. i wouldnt trust 6 lill bolts holdin down a cover to keep that valve train from comin out if it blows.... lmao im gonna add a few more to it..

yes on the paint .. but its a secret.. all i can say at the moment is its from the 70;s pro stock era.. the rear wheels an tires are from pegasus they are the funny car set . i also have the font ones too.. thanks fellas... much love to the forum.. later days... Davin

update 2.. started making the duel throttle bodied fuel injetion..... an a few mocks of were shes at ... nothing is painted yet . still got a lot of test fitting an scratch building to do .. next....

time to update... done a lil bit to the ole duster.. got most the cage done . no pics of were its at now but heres what i have gone threw. cut the top part of the kit cage off ,an added my own cage bars.. started makin the big wedge valve covers.. they are done just gotta get a new pic.. more to come in a min.....

heres mine ... no pic wife drives a 2000 dodge grand caravan with custom mix paint.. cold air w/ k/n filter . msd ign.. 178.000. mine is a 96 eclipse... has a new jasper engine. 2.0 dohc. lowered, cold air k/n , 4 to 1 header w/stainless exhaust w/fart can ,msd ign, b/m short throw shifter, stage 2 clutch, oz f1 wheels. still have tons of upgrades to do . like turbo kit . 4in adj coils, 18s ,susp mods. an so on.. later days... davin

lol its not done yet . above the first pic it says ( the one im still working on) ...and mine was not built to be accurate but detailed. and there is no such thing as an accurate general lee .. there are many to chose from ..but that is debatable an im not goin there ...lol

my shortest was a 80s mustang drag car .. bout 1 week,, mt longest is a chopped merc (by me). about 4 yrs. an my general lee build is hittin the 1yr mark..

heres the one im still working on .. i used ev2 paint from a local body shop... an i uesed saddle tan for the int.. i have a thread on here on this .. i used the 68 kit an a 69 kit to make mine.. look up highly detailed general lee.. if u wanna see more , or my photobucket at the bottom.. later days... yeah shes one that has been given me probs.. sbc w/fender well headers ,hand made .. check my photobucket to see more of the gasser
