Greg, in 1955 the oil filter was an option. It was a canister type like your '56. -
Disc brake rally wheels with a slightly larger rear tire. Man thats a classic look. Just picked up a kit so I could do mine like that. Looks great so far.

I like it so far. You thought about losing the shock towers and going coil over. It would show off the motor more. I still like it though. What color? Keep it coming.
