  1. METAL MESH! I bought this Metal Mesh at a Crafts Store. It comes in many styles and colors. I cut a piece and glued it into the Hyperspace Supercharger. I also cut some Metal Mesh to fit the underside of the body. Extra Mesh on the sides so I could glue it easier. Zap-A-Gap Glue and Baking Powder were used to hold the Mesh in place. Here is the Hyperdrive Supercharger with the Mesh in place. Here is the underside with the Mesh glued in place. More Coming...
  2. Good Idea! That should be interesting...
  3. Great Painting Bobby! Real Nice Drool too...
  4. Thanks Carl! Yeah, Love the Candy Red...
  5. MORE COLOR-LESS SHINE! I painted the Silver details with a Silver Marking Pen. Then I did a little touch up with Silver paint and a brush. Next I added some color to the body. I hand painted the Red and Black stripes using masking tape to keep the lines straight. That worked pretty good but I did get some paint coming under the tape in a few places. So I used some of the Flat Yellow and painted over the mistakes. Then I sprayed the Wings with Testors Dullcoat. Next I sprayed the body parts with Dullcoat. More Coming...
  6. Accurate? I don't know about accurate but it is original...

Great Build Bill! Real Nice Detailing...
  10. ROCKET STAND! I drilled a hole in the bottom of the Tie X-Wing. Then I put some glue on the end of a length of plastic tubing and slid it in the hole. Then I put some Zap-A-Gap glue around the tubing where it comes out of the body. Next I cut off the tubing flush with the body. I am using steel wire to hold up the Tie X-Wing on the display stand. The wire fits right in the tubing. More Coming...
  11. ROATATING DISK! I applied a couple coats of Filler/Primer. Then I cut a circle shaped piece of plastic to fit between the Body and the Cockpit. This will allow the Cockpit to rotate and make the gluing of the Body and Cockpit much easier. More Coming...
  12. Thanks Bob! I thought I would try something different...
  13. JUST A FEW MORE DETAILS... The Tail Lights are from a 12th scale Cord. I attached them with 2-sided Foam Tape. The Chevy script is from a 16th scale 57 Chevy. I cut the Chevy Script from the Big V and glued it in place with Formula 560 Glue. I used an X-Acto Knife to hold the piece while gluing. Here is the Script in place. I also found some 59 Impala Tail Lights that fit on the Fins just right. Well, that's about it, a little touch up and Cam-Air is Finished! Finished Photos Coming Soon...
  14. DETAILS! I painted the area around the Zinger Supercharger with Tamiya Flat Black. Then I glued it in. Drilled a hole for the antenna and attached it with Zap-A-Gap. Found some old Styline Chrome Bullets that fit just right. Don't forget the Goodguys Decal! More Coming...
  15. Repaint? Looks good to me, maybe just add some Cool Decals...
