  1. So after a trip to Tim Horton's I decided to put some work into this so far I have shaved the EVO dash, cut out the hood, found a set of wheels with some admirable dish, painted the fuel cell, paint the chassis, found then fabricated some rear spring (they do work), and also made my own rear end and painted that aswell onto das pics Also picked this up from a swap meet for $5 and also found a truck that I am going to paint to match the car and possibly make a trailer for
  2. Judging by the first page he hand crafted the ratcheting system
  3. So far so good love the dish on those wheels
  4. Very clean looks like something you may see on HELLAFLUSH nice work
  5. I look forward to that maybe we can work out a set of twins
  6. This is looks amazing love the detail keep up the great progress!
  7. I like this guy already I just recently found a spare RHD dash from an evo and yes I am now on the touring route
  8. My thoughts aswell so far it's a toss up between prostreet or, touring so far I am leaning towards touring haven't tried 1 before and it's time for a change
  9. So this is going to be my first no instruction kit bash hope it goes well, so far so good, I found the shell in a box of parts started doing some filler work then decided it looked lonely! So I set it up on a date with a ford nascar chassis and a 427 HUGE BLOCK (hand made block) 427 dual carburator intake manifold, randomly selected ford valve covers (possibly replaced by something that whistles in the near future) They get along quite well so far more progress to come
  10. I don't find flash to be to much of a pain just some filing and a rub with some sand paper makes it go away fairly easy and as for the answer needing a question I see what ya did there clever
  11. ohhh gotchya now, glad you guys could help I am now on track
  12. thanks alot guys also another is flash ??
  13. So I am noticing there is some new lingo on here (new to me anyway) and I was wonder what certain things I have been reading mean Curbside kit, kit bash, community builds, BMF, I will add more as I see them let me know also it will help out any of the other new members thanks for any help
  14. thanks for the comments alot of really positive encouragement to start my next build
  15. Seeing as it is supposed to be a drift machine the camber allows it to slide around the corners easier instead of both rears fully gripping it allows 1 to lose a bit of contact thus sliding through a corner more efficiently... also it just looks SIQ
  16. Yep I know where that is and thanks it was pretty simple to build and went together nicely
  17. Haha thank you sir! and thanks everyone for the comment as for the evo it is not wired or anything special although you can't see it in the picture but it has a turbo from a ferarri which I drilled out and made a ever so tiny compressor wheel, and I hand made an exhaust turbo manifold! my skills aren't to great but hopefully time on here will fix that
  18. thanks for all the positive comment and also constructive criticism, I haven't been build to long and also I now see your and the front is will be fixed thanks for helping oh I also was bothered greatly by the chrome lip on the front rims so I made them flat black to match the rears also as for whats next, possibly AMT Indy turbine car
  19. Yeah I meant to put 69 thanks for the heads up
  20. That thing is completely offensive ... I LOVE IT
  21. Everything is fun when you add a jet turbine on it, but when you have three you will smile weather you want to or not great build!
  22. Just finished this up tonight hope the photos are decent let me know what you think For the record I <3 flat paint!
  23. Thank you greatly appreciated more to come as I go along! also ALOT more skill/detail along the way
