what kind of tape do you use?ive tried tape several times in the past but it allways peels the paint that was sprayed before i added the tape or the fresh paint i added comes off when i go to peel the tape..needless to say me and tape havent gotten along and where can i get this mesh fabric at?and thanks for the info really helps alot!

im looking for the best way to do paint schemes.like maybe a compny sells stencils or custom stickers you add n peel off when done painting?anything is helpfull thanks...

those may just have to do id hate have to 1:20 scales in a collection of 1:24 scale but maybe i can figure out something to make them fit in thanks casey

may have to do with deleting all the photos out of my photobucket album im try and find some of the pics i had of them.if i find them ill post them back up or something

im not sure of the correct years of the nissan hard bodys but im wondering if anyone makes a resin nissan hardbody ext cab and single cabs

heres some new pics of the progress ive made today..

update:all the bodywork on the cab is now done and cab is primed and ready for a light block sand along with the hood.i shaved the front bumper so now all there is to see is the lics plate figured id be a lil different.bed is still a working progress thats gonna take a little longer to finish..for the interior ive smoothed out the dash filled in where the clove box was,the door panels im going to smooth out allso give the interior a must more custom look.all ive gotten done so far should have yall some pictures soon

its the 1984 gmc pickup from amt/ertl its blue on the box lifted up truck

ive shaved the cab completely now doors,drip rails,wiper cowl,back of cab and side markers and for the bed ive mad a rollpan still needs alot of work to look good some of the inside of bed is starting to look better

ive allways wanted build a 80's c-10 model finaly found one on ebay for a decent price..i havent even had it an hour and ive allready cut the bed floor out and raised the floor to clear the wheels this prolly wont be the actaull wheels i run on it for good just not feeling the look of them on the truck..ill have more pictures by toinight or tomorrow!

ok so got it painted the cab needs be resanded and painted it came out ok but the passenger fender kinda messed up but what wheels do yall think look better im kinda feeling the bigger wheels a lil better now theres paint over the old skool billets

okay so heres some of the pictures of the progress..i thought the doors were done for good but once i shot some primer on them you could see where they used to be still and the passenger door had a small hair line crack as you can kinda see in pictures other then that what do yall think of the hood its still on in putty but you can kinda see the shape its gonna take

a little update..i got all of the bed work on the outside done and bed reprime grey wont be able finish the inside untill i build the new back half..started back on the whats gonna be my own custom cowl hood all i have do is build the sides and add some putty and it should be done soon.as for the front frame rails put one more coat of putty and they will be done allso.should have ya'll some new pictures of the progress by tonight with the doors shaved allso plz stay tuned

ive allways seemed to have better luck with the glazing bondo then anything else its easier to sand and only a total of 3 bucks lol..and yea im guessing its actually bodydropped the frame is cut down as if it was a stock floor bodydrop and the bed lays on the ground automatically i put all of the interior in last night just as a test fit the front seems like it may need more cutting..i have seen some dropped trucks with bodydrops so it wouldnt suprise me if thats how truck was done in reall life

so decided keep all the inerior stock and in the colors it came molded in about the only thing itll have done to the interior is a fancy chrome steering wheel.as for the frame ive so far shaved the whole front clip and smoothing it in gonna build my own custom control arms..i got most of the motor together its gonna be all black the color it was molded in with all the stuff that comes chrome on it i think it'll look good...well heres some pictures let me know what yall think of the progress...

rear is all off of a corvette and the front just looks like a factory front end with cut coils..im rebuild the back end so it'll lay out on the ground with the corvette rear end the front im just make some custom control arms

finaly back in from work was looking forward to building this truck finaly only to find i have to do more to it then i was wanting too this truck allready comes bodydropped so my plans of building it after my buddys truck are kinda out the window so ive decided i will buy anothe single cab lata on and go threw with that idea..but now im stuck on which way go this truck looks great on the old skool billets but allso looks good on the newer style 24's but im kinda digging the old skool billets it gives the truck a 90's show scene look..what do yall think?which wheels should i go with!!??!!sorry the bed is pink i was just ready prime the bed so i could see if the body work was done...
