This is #5 of my tow truck fleet, all my tow trucks are painted the same this one and there is 4 more to be bilt .

The KW is done

I read in a model mag that the Kenworth tooling was reworked to make the T600 , and there would be no more KW conventionals.

I put channel from plastruct or evergreen inside the frame for shortening them. to make longer do the same but add new parts of channel the same size as the frame. Also you can make new frame rails from channel .

I think I will give them a call , I am only 12 miles north of Denton.

Look in the train area of your hobby shops , they have drill bits so small that if you drop one you will never find it

Thank you I only compet with myself , looking for that one hole group. I have a 22-250 and a 308 that will do it but my friend just got a 45X scope for his 6mm BR and you could see alot of movement in the old bench even with the legs 4 feet in the ground so we built new benches . They are 6" thick ,the legs are 8" and in the ground 24", we are not done with them more pics to come. Back to the truck models I am going to try and go take more engine pics of the old Autocar it's just a mile up the road at a friends house.

That is a good article . In my fotki folders there is a blue peterbilt with a holmes 750 I did from that article only thing is I made the bed and used the peterbilt parts on the blue Reo. I plan to do two more one on a DM800 and one on a IH paystar 5000.

The real Can Do is a 379 , the kit is a 359

I put some autocar pics on my fotki pages ,thay are some I found on a old roll of film that I forgot about. The truck has a few parts from other brand trucks on it. I will get som better pics when I get time to go take them.

The KW will stay in the box , I will build the Mack after I do a Payhauler 350.

The KW W925 I found at a small shop in Irving TX for $29.00. The DM800 was at diffrent shop in Irving for $45.00.

That looks good . I am going to try and build a shop out of a box for the background . Keep up the good work. PS the temp droped from the 70's yesterday to the 30's today and this is Texas.
