this one, an Australian one , IPMS, and i was on a british one till i got banned for swearing lol ive never done a truck kit , too exspensive and too big , not much room in a 2x bed flat lol

na its American/ Hawaiian run ,if im not mistaken, but it seems strange there are not many UK builders on here , so do you got to shows ? and if so where lol, there are none my neck of the woods , im looking to go to the big IPMS show in Telford in November , maybe show a cpl of builds

To your question of does it go fast , yes it does, 1 bottle ( from exsperience) would be enough to spray a body, i used the alclad magnesium to paint a Ferrari 360 and still have some left, it is exspensive but it is nice paint, It is pre thinned, shake well and airbrush only , you cant use it with a paint brush this is the Alclad web site, lots of info on their products http://www.alclad2.com/ give it a go

Well here is the SLS so far, its gonna take me a while to do as im not a great builder so bare with me on this one lol the Base kit is the revell AMG SLS kit , which is a great kit, but i wanted more , i wanted an SLS GT3 car , so this is it so far the std look to the body; the start of a lot of filler and plasticard and sanding ; the bonnet with the new vent; a view of side skirt and front vent; and the second side under way; That is it so far , but im enjoying it And look forward to your builds in this guys

is he still doing the trans kit still then ? if so how much is it ? cheers

i primer , it helps the gloss black get a nice base , smooth ready to take the alclad chrome IMO anyway fella

a little update for ya guys , so far ; still needs a bit more work and edges tidying up , but ok so far i think

Ive got the Cabrio version , so will be watching this one , great colour, and i love the first set of wheels myself too

Many thanks for all the coments, and yeh i know the wire im useing is too big, but i dont have much of a budget , so i can only use what i have lying around, i will be getting some propper detail bits very soon, hey im learning lol But alll coments good and bad taken onboard , cheers again guys

Cheers, it was a nightmare as the car was sooooooo wide compared to UK cars , i had to have someone sitting on the right hand side to tell me if it was safe to overtake , which the kickdown worked realy well when she opend up and thunerd past lol
