  14. Option 3 has got my vote. Very different merc. Lovin it!
  15. The 67 is actually molded wrong anyway. If you find a 68 which are still somewhat common just shave the side marker lights off and put them in the balances. Instant 67
  16. It has an engine??? I past one up years ago thinking it was curbside! Time to start watching eBay... Looks great my favorite lotus next to the Elan.
  17. I recently built the fujimi crx del sol which is moulded red. I primered it with duplicolor sandable primer followed by rustoleum Sun yellow. Two days later red is showing through the topcoat. Grr :-(
  18. Darren, missed the club the last couple months and just now found the thread. Updates look great bit had 2 small suggestions. 1. Use a few of those bones around the outside edge of the bed and wrap them in barbed wire. The stake truck idea would really pop and besides you gotta protect the rats! 2. Once its a show truck that would never see the road I think redded out headlights would look very evil. Keep up the great work.
  19. I'm not sure yet. All I know is it won't be blue or charcoal grey. Possibly 06 vette burnt orange with tan interior.
  20. my alpine 1600 quick build. great kit highly recommended!
  21. finally got to a computer to upload the pics properly. Ron i dont remember the exact year about a 95 or so. Blue with black interior and hand painted grand national stripes!
  22. I decided to start something new so what better than a new version of my first kit when I was young. Its the new revell zr1 I am opening the doors and hatch on. Here's where I am now. More soon
  23. Mike, great tutorial I bought the stuff after seeing it used in your momad. What is the best way to build it up to do custom fender flares or larger apllications? Hoping to find a way to use it instead of balsa wood which I always break.
  24. I see a lot of forums and faqs on weathering and rusting techniques but never seen anything on getting the look of peeling clear on a base clear paintjob. Any ideas would be great!
