  1. Thanks for the worm welcome. Big Boyz Anything to do with big scale models: 1/8, 1/12, or 1/16 SORRY it ´s 1/6
  2. Caught by his wonderful models John Teresi showed in another forum I came to MCM-forum. I was looking a while to all the great models shown here and I think it ´s time to show you my latest WIP. Years ago I made a Fat Boy from Tamiya (nearly OOB). Over the years it gets a new handlebar and red position lights, but no special features. Three years ago I get a new Fat Boy and decided to make it as the very first version of the Fat Boy from 1990, the Gray Ghost. After this was done I have two equal models on the shelf. Not very interesting. Then I saw a boober style Softail in the net and I planned to rebuild the blue version of my Fat Boy into that bobber. The only different is that the real bike based on the Twin-Cam engine and the model based on the Evolution-Engine. Everything of the Fat Boy has to stripped down, using a screw driver, a scalpel and a photo etched saw. What you see here is the work of around one and a half year. Yes, I ´m not a quick builder. But the finish of this build is in sight To make the bobber look right I had to flex the fender struts from the metal frame. I was a little bit anxious to do so, because it was the point of no return. The upper part of the frame had to be filled with Bondo because of a big gap between the two halfes of the frame. After that was finished I sprayed the upper part of the frame with filler. Chrome won ´t bring you home
  3. Too bad. Really too bad, that most of the technical details you put so perfect in this bike are now hidden by the cowls. But your carbon work looks also perfect. Great work. I like to see more.
  4. Nice show bike with many details and much creativity. Congrats to this effort.
  5. The side of the hood says real.
  6. Great looking bike with many creativity. I like the color. I think the heat belt around the exhaust is a little bit too thick in scale. How about some material like this: http://www.hansaplast.de/produkte/wundersorgung/sensitive-fixierpflaster I don´t know if you have it in the USA, but there must be something similar to get. I keep watching this great show bike.
  7. John is an artist in scratch building models (never mind if motorcycles, cars, trikes). And when color enter the equation he is an artist too. Every time I look his models, my eyes are wide opened. After seeing his models, my mouth is wide opened. The chassis of his truck looks so real. Great work as usual.
  8. It´s a real beauty. The more I look at it, the more detail I found that is made from scratch. Great job on this bike.
  9. Very nice built and great detail over all even when one knows that the 1/12 bikes has less detail than possible in this scale.
  10. Hi Eric, nice and interesting project you´ve started. There is not so much information about the Magna 50 in the net. But I think you can use for the wiring the Dax as a reference for the model. There are a few plans for wiring to find in the net.
  11. Yeah, I like it like that. And I like to see more pics of the beauty. How did you made the air cleaner for the carbs? Which material did you use for them? Nice color ! I still have a wrecked CB 750 that´s waiting to turned in something like the "Wrenchmonkeys" built in real. I hope to see more of this bike soon
  12. Too many little details say: REAL (unfinished) .
  13. The idea for this project, the build, the paint...... Everything uncredible perfect. And everything from one man. John is an artist of his own. Every time I´m fascinated again by his models and I can´t get enough of them.
  14. Thats the style I love. The 70 Pontiac is one of my favorite cars. Nice engine Bay.

    Drag Bike

Hello Eric, you made a great job with this bike. I like it with all the details you put in it. Where do you get al the information about wiring a dragster motorcycle. For years I like to built a V-2 Dragster bike, but I never found enough information in the net, to make a really good model in scale. Please help and I hope to see more bikes from you.
  16. The first picture from the link that shows the Monteverdi 375/4 is not from a 1970 model. It may be from 1974, because the taillights of a Triumph were used by later models.
  17. Yeah, I really like this bike. Where did you get all the information about the wiring of this model? It looks like the real thing.
